When the trumpets sounded throughout the castle, Y/n was glad she couldn't hear them. But what came with those loud trumpets, were five beautiful noblewomen. She's never seen anyone more beautiful than these ladies, and she momentarily wondered if she had died because they honestly looked like angels. Especially the shortest one.

But, what sucked about being best friends as well as the maid to the Queens, was that they knew, just knew that Y/n was gonna have a hard time with them. And with a smirk that got a glare from Y/n, they were spot on. Oh, they were assholes. And yes, she can say that about them. "Our lovely maid will show you to your guest rooms." All five eyes stared at Y/n, before bowing to the Queens and waiting for the maid to take them. As Y/n past by the Queens, she quickly gave them a finger, which earned her a cheeky smile and thumbs up.

As the maid took them to their rooms, the five woman couldn't stop staring at her, and Y/n could feel their stares. She wanted to turn around, but with her being shy and deaf, she couldn't really talk to them, and it sucked. So any questions that they had, were never gonna get answered. But of course, they had no idea, so every question they asked, got ignored, which pissed four of the five women off. And two of them thought, if she was gonna ignore them, theu were gonna ignore her. When they arrived at their room, Y/n opened the door with a smile, but she was ignored, and the door promptly shut in her face. Which kinda hurt.

When she walked back to the two Queens, they were already in the kitchen making their tea and snacking on their biscuits. Hearing their friends footsteps, the two Queens looked up and smiled at Y/n. "So, how'd it go?" Jade signed, wiggling her eyebrows successively.

But Y/n shook her head and sighed. "Slammed the door in my face. Either they were asking me questions, which I couldn't answer, or they're arrogant assholes. And I really hope they aren't, they're so gorgeous." Y/n bit her lip, worrying a bit, but Perrie gently patted her friends hand.

"Don't worry. They may be tired." Perrie signed. Y/n doubted that, but gave the blonde headed Queen a nod. They talked while the two women waited for the water to warm, and when they heard the kettle whistle, Y/n smacked Perrie's hand, sending her a glare.

"I got it." Y/n made their tea, which somehow was better than their own. They swore that she did something, added a little something, but Y/n would just shake her head and roll her eyes.

When dinner came around, Y/n set the table before getting the Queens from their walk around the gardens. Dinner was a special affair with the five noblewomen from a different country. Y/n made the exception of eating with the other maids, not wanting to upset the noblewomen, but she didn't see the last of them then.

Somehow, Y/n was tasked with bringing up towels for the women, and when they saw her at the door, the raven haired women sent her a sneer that shook Y/n to the core. And the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Suddenly, she was surrounded by four pf the five ladies, theur mouths moving to fast for her to understand what their saying. She gets so overwhelmed that she backs out of the room and the door gets slammed in her face again. She's never been hated this much and she doesn't know what to do, and she's trying so hard not to cry.

When she goes back to her own room, she lays on the bed, trying to figure out what to do. She doesn't want to tell her Queens, cause if they're making plans, that could ruin it. And even thpugh the Queens don't tolerate bullying, these plans are most likely important, and she wasn't gonna jeopardize that. Y/n kept making excuses in her head, but she already knew the truth, they didn't like her, and there was nothing she could do about it.

The next morning, the Queens could tell Y/n wasn't her usual self. She seemed shier than usual, not looking the Queens in the eye, and stayed away from the five noblewomen.  It wasn't until watching Y/n pour the raven haired noblewoman some tea, did they understand.

"You do know she's deaf correct? Yelling at her is just thinking she did something wrong when she merely can't hear. We sent your advisors something about Y/n, so either you ignored it or you really didn't know. But we're gonna go with option B, or we will have serious problems." The five women sit there stunned, knowing they should've thought of that option, instead of automatically assuming the worse.

"Our advisors never told us. We are sorry if we acted horribly and completely understand if you won't like to make the plans anymore."

"You don't tell us sorry. You tell Y/n. She's been my, our most trusted maid since we had gotten married and I've known her for years. Practically grew up with her. She's honestly my best friend. I was rude to her when before I found out she was deaf, so.I understand, but you tell her you're sorry."

"Of course my Queens." After breakfast, the five women go in search of Y/n, and quickly find her in the garden, tending to the roses.

A tap on her shoulder causes her to quickly turn around. A flicker of panic crosses her features, but Y/n quickly schools them. And then she's surprised at what comes next.

"We would like to apologize for being rude to you. We had no idea you're deaf, but that still doesn't justify our actions. And if you would please give us a moment of your time, we would love to start over and talk to you." Ally writes on a piece of paper, showing Y/n and sending her a soft smile. The other four women stand there with sweet smiles, while the tallest one blows her a kiss. But Ally quickly smacks her arm. "I'm sorry about her, she can be incredibly annoying." But Y/n giggles softly and shakes her head.

"I understand, and I would love to start over. My name's Y/n and I'm deaf and painfully shy. The only two people who know the real me are the Queens and they're protective over me." She hands them back the paper and soon they're having to get more paper and they have a full conversation. It wasn't until weeks later that Y/n finds out that the five women asked to court her. Which is a weird feeling. No one's even taken interest over her, but she likes it. They're amazing women, and they're gorgeous as fuck, so of course she was gonna enjoy this courting process.

I'm really sorry, this was hard for me to write somehow, but I hope it's okay.
