The family was in the living room, watching the latest episode of Supergirl, which was weird for Y/n to watch because she was in it. She hated watching herself act, especially when she just criticized herself throughout the whole thing. But her twin was cuddled up with her, little Stormi sat in her lap as she played with Y/n's fingers. It was still funny to watch Stormi look at Y/n with wide eyes before looking at Kylie. She still didn't understand that her mom had a twin, but it was so cute to watch her freak out about it.
"You okay?" Y/n looked up at her sister and nodded, pressing a kiss to her forehead before laying her head on her sister's shoulder. "Tired?" Y/n nodded as she closed her eyes, a small yawn escaping her lips.
"Y/n?" Y/n let out a small groan, Kylie laughing at her sister as Y/n looked over at her mom.
"Yea momma."
"I met someone today that you might like." This time, a louder groan escaped her lips.
"Mom, no."
"Oh come on now, he's sweet and funny, kind as well. Oh! And he's a famous singer."
"And how old is he exactly?" Y/n questioned, knowing how her mom is.
"Y/n, you need to get out there and date people."
"Mom, just stop. I'm not going out with anyone you set me up with."
Kris scoffs and sends her daughter a glare. "He wants to take you out on a date."
"Well tell him no."
"Too late, I already said yes." Y/n quickly covered Stormi's ears so she could cuss.
"For fucks sake mom! Call it off, now!"
"Y/n!"
"No! I'm not going out with anyone you set me up with because the people who you set me up with are fucken assholes and are always way older than me! You all may be okay with dating older guys, but I'm not! Please mother, tell me how old he is." It's quiet for a while before Kris mumbles something none of them understand. "What?"
"He's 34."
"Jesus mom! That's 9 years older than me! Who is he?"
"Tyrone William Griffin Jr."
"Who the fuck is that?" Y/n looks at her with.a raised eyebrow.
"Ty Dolla $ign." Kylie tells her with a chuckle, but Y/n laughs.
"No, hell no. I'm not dating that drug using asshole."
"He's a good guy Y/n."
"Yeet out of here Kanye, no one's talking to you."
"Y/n, be nice." Y/n rolls her eyes, and crosses her arms.
"I'm not kidding mom, call it off." Kris sighs but doesn't make a move to grab her phone.
"Just one date sweetheart."
"No."
"Y/n you-"
"For fucks sake! I said no!" Y/n yells. Everyone sits there stunned, not use to hearing Y/n yell.
"Y/n-"
"I have a girlfriend! And I'm not just saying that to get out of the date. I really do have a girlfriend. It's Melissa, the girl who plays Supergirl. We've been dating for nearly a year. We weren't gonna tell anyone yet, but maybe we should've. I just, why the hell do you keep setting me up with guys older that me by 8 or 9 years? I don't like that, you guys know that. But you keep doing it anyways and it's pissing me the fuck off. And I expressed how much I hated him and Lauren dating, she deserved better than him! Did y'all read way too deep in between the lines or something, because me saying "I hate him" must be because, I hate him! Not because I wanna date him, because news flash, I don't! I love my girlfriend and the only one I wanna date is my girlfriend, because why? I. Love. Her!" She huffs as she sits back, her family staring at her as she plays with Stormi.
"Y/n-"
"Honestly Kanye, shut the fuck up. I don't like you, never have never will, and wanna know something, you can't rap. Like, at all. And your shoes are so overpriced that people shouldn't buy them, they're stupid. Just be quiet." Y/n presses her lips against her niece's forehead before handing her over to her sister, and leaving the living room.
Y/n flops down on her bed, pulling out her phone as she lets out a sigh. Her thumb hovers over Melissa's name, but her door opens before she's able to call her. "Everyone is still in shock that you said no to mom and yelled. I, personally, thought it was amazing." Y/n chuckles against her pillow, turning her head to look at her sister.
"Did I scare Stormi?"
"She's fine, are you though?"
"I will be." Kylie goes to sit next to her sister, before laying down.
"Tell me about her." Y/n blushes, her head dropping on her pillow before she turns to look at her sister.
"Where to begin. Um, first, she's really sweet and kind, loveable and doesn't push. I can be who I want to be around her and she's so sweet. Her singing voice is incredible, and when I'm stressed out, she holds me and sings to me, kissing my forehead and rubbing my back until I relax. To me, she really is Supergirl. And if everyone has had a rough day on set, she'll start to sing and dance to make everyone laugh. Maybe soon I'll introduce you two."
Kylie smiles, happy that Y/n found someone that makes her happy and giddy. "She does know we're twins right?"
"Oh! Yea. Funny story though. When she first saw me, she thought I was you, and kept calling me Kylie, until I told her I was Y/n. She was so embarrassed, but it was so adorable. She also gave me this necklace." Y/n holds up the necklace, smiling at the memory.
