"Wait, what do you mean you can't come? You're my maid of honor, you're suppose to be by my side the whole time telling me to calm down and stuff." Y/n stared at her best friend as she tried to understand why she was backing out.
"I know, and I'm sorry, but I just can't go..." Y/n stared at Kylie, who was looking everywhere but at Y/n.
"Why? Why can't you go?"
"I just can't Y/n, please understand that."
"Well, I can't if you won't tell me why!" Kylie let out a sigh, and shook her head.
"I'm sorry Y/n, I really am." Kylie put her glasses on, muttering, "sorry," to her before leaving. Y/n stood there, not knowing what to do, before finally breaking down, and crying. She knows she shouldn't cry, but Kylie is, was her best friend, she doesn't understand how she could back out now, especially two days before her wedding.
"Sorry my ass..." Y/n wiped her cheeks, decided to just forget about it until after her wedding. No use to worry about it now, and maybe with some time Kylie will actually tell her why she couldn't go. She just hoped it wasn't something stupid, otherwise Kylie might get smacked because of it.
~~~
The day of her wedding, everything was going perfectly. Her dress looked, and fit perfectly, her make-up artist was a fucken goddess, and knew how to work the brush to make her look beautiful. And her hair was curled and fell around her shoulders perfectly, framing her beautiful face.
"Oh honey, you look so beautiful!" Her mom gushed, dabbing at her eyes to avoid ruining her make-up. Y/n chuckled, and rolled her eyes as she stared at herself through the mirror.
"You're mother's right Y/n, you look beautiful." Mrs. Thompson agreed, which was surprising to Y/n. That woman never agreed with anything Y/n wanted or even said. Hell, Y/n was pretty sure she hated her, she wouldn't even Y/n call her by her name, it's only 'Mrs. Thompson'.
"Thank you."
"Although..." that fucken bitch, Y/n should've known. She closed her eyes and smiled politely. "You're hair should've been worn up, that's what I did for Harold for my wedding."
"Well, Mrs. Thompson, I really like how the stylist did my hair."
"Hmm, maybe next time then..." she trails off before walking out the door.
"Next time my ass bitch..."
"Y/n!" Her mom couldn't stop the smile that came to her face, causing one to come to Y/n's face as well.
"I meant to ask, where's Kylie?" Y/n immediately frowns, and lets out a sigh.
"She said she couldn't come, and wouldn't tell me why. I wasn't gonna bother her with anything, more important things to worry about." Y/n shrug her shoulder, her mom looking at her daughter, immediately telling that Y/n was hurt by her not coming.
"Maybe it's serious and she just couldn't tell you." She reasoned but Y/n shrugged her shoulders, and sighed. A knock in the door stopped the conversation, and her dad peeked his head in.
"Wow, look at you, my baby girl getting married." He smiled, and walked inside the room, walking up to his little girl. "Ready darling?" Y/n smiled, and nodded.
"Yes daddy." He handed her the flowers before taking her hand, and walking out with her. They got in position, waiting until they heard the wedding march song begin.
Friends and family couldn't help but shed a tear at how beautiful Y/n looked. Most of them knew she would make a beautiful bride, and were happy to see this day come true for her. Her dad kissed her forehead, before shaking her fiance's hand, and going to sit down.
"Dearly beloved-" if Y/n was being honest, once the priest started talking, she drowned out his voice. She couldn't stop thinking why Kylie wasn't there, and why she wouldn't just tell her the truth. Kylie knew Y/n would never judge her for it, but maybe she thought Y/n would, she honestly might never know now... hell, are Kylie and her still even friends?
"Y/n, do you take this man, in-"
"Wait!" The doors opened, and Kylie walked in, everyone gasping like it was the movies, and watched the reality tv star walk towards Y/n. "My sisters smacked some sense into me, because I was too scared, and stupid to realize it earlier. But I love you, in love with you. I honestly never thought it would come to this, telling you while you were here, but I put it off too long and here we are. I don't expect you to say anything except get out, but I wanted and needed for you to know." Kylie lets out a breath, Y/n looking at her before smacking her across her face, another gasp comes from the audience. "Yep, I deserve that."
"You seriously couldn't just tell me?! Dude! We tell each other everything! Jesus, you're honestly stupid..." Y/n shook her head before pulling Kylie into a kiss. Kylie quickly melted into the kiss, pulling Y/n closer, and running her hands through her hair. "You are honestly so dumb, four years I've been telling you I've liked you more than a friend, but I thought you were ignoring me. And seriously, that one night when we got drunk and slept together, I wasn't even that drunk, I barely had two shots."
"I never saw it.... and I was actually really drunk that night, but I'm not sorry about kissing you the next morning." Y/n chuckled and shook her head.
"So, did you wanna dive in and get married, or be girlfriends for a while?"
"I would love to marry you, but my family would be pissed if they didn't see it, so not yet." Y/n smiled and took the ring off, handing it to her ex-fiancé, pecking his cheek before walking down the aisle with Kylie beside her.
They walk out the front doors, both ladies smiling as Kylie's sisters cheered for them. "'Bout time and welcome to the family!" Kendall hugged Y/n tightly before they made their way to the big SUV waiting out front.
"I bet you never heard this before, but thank you for interrupting my wedding." The girls laughed before the driver pulls away from the curb and drives off, Y/n not knowing where they're going, but not caring as long as Kylie's by her side.
