There were thousands of people in front of the stage, waiting for inventor Y/n to come out. She was unveiling a new solar panel car, that only runs on the suns rays and charges it's batteries while it moves. She was also showing a new virtual reality game that a lot of people were excited for. Every year, Y/n was coming out with new and better things and people were already excited to see what she was coming out with next year.
When the lights dimmed, claps and cheers were started, and Y/n came out with a bring smile. She walked to the front of the stage, and waited for the applause to stop. "Ever since Telsa first came out, everyone was thrilled with it. And I will say, it's a beautiful car. And for the right price and model, you can get so many bells and whistles your unborn kids will want to stay in the car. And it's electric. So no stopping at gas stations, shelling out up too $100 dollars to fill up your gas tank. Which could be spent on bills, food, or if you wanna treat your loved ones to a night out. You'll definitely get lucky that night." Some people chuckle, but most whistle and clap.
"But, a Telsa can cost up to $35,000 dollars, which is really steep. Sure, there are fancier cars that cost more. But, let's be honest here, Telsa's aren't fancy. Not one bit. Sure, they're electric, and all the buttons, but it also runs up your energy bill. My best friend has a Telsa and now he has to pay an extra $200 dollars on his energy bill. There goes your hundred and another hundred! Of course, it might not be an extra $200 for you. Maybe it's only $50 bucks, or $80 dollars. But no one wants to pay more, for an electric car. So, I took it upon myself to find a car that'll charge and run on something that we get everyday. The sun! That star is giving us free energy! So, I came up with an idea, please help me welcome Eclipse!" Cheers come from all around, the stage splitting apart as the SUV rises up from underneath the stage and starts to spin.
"This SUV is the top of it's line! It's the safest, most energy efficient car out there. I've run test after test. Thousand of crashes were held to make sure this car passed it's test. The air bags are like cushions that wrap around your body to protect you. And I would know because some of those tests, I was in the drivers seat." She points up to the screen, showing the video of her getting in the car that was about to crash into a wall. It showed different camera angels, and it wasn't only one test, it was different times, different cars.
Everytime the car hit the wall, Y/n was enveloped in a airbag and came out unscathed. "Those were honestly the funnest and scariest times of my life. But I proved my point. This car will save you money, I guarantee it. It also has batteries as well, and charges on its own. So when your driving somewhere, it charges the batteries for you. And let's say it's a rainy day. Oh no, no sun! What shall you do! Go to the menu, hit the no sun option, and give it a few minutes and tada! Now you really have to go to work or school. And when your driving, it charges up the batteries so you won't run out of juice!"
