The whole bringing a baby to work wasn't planned, but since the little one had gotten sick and Khloé had to do something where she couldn't take True, Y/n was stuck. But honestly, she didn't mind. The little girl was the sweetest and her boss - who's an absolute hard ass - melted at the sight of the little one.
The only downside, there was a call from Italy that was coming around at noon and Y/n didn't know how that was gonna go. But she's been known as a great multitasker, so if anyone could handle a sick baby and a phone call, it's her.
Y/n set up True's car seat by her desk, watching the little girl lull herself into sleep again wgich meant Y/n was able to work.
It took a while for her to finish her e-mails since there were so many, but it was do able. But as she was getting ready for the call, True woke up whimpering and whining. As Y/n picked up the baby, she gently held her close cooing at True. "I know baby girl, you feel icky. Momma be by to pick you up soon my love." She gently rubbed the babies back, and luckily was able to get her back to sleep as the phone rang.
"This is Y/n."
"Ciao sì, sono Michael Coal. (1)
"Signor carbone, grazie per avermi chiamato così presto e mi dispiace per la tarda notte per te." (2)
"La notte tardi succede sempre. Parte del lavoro." (3) He chuckles deeply, which sends a smile to Y/n's lips. True let's out a whimper, causing Y/n to look down at the baby.
"Bene, andiamo al lavoro, vero?" (4) They talk for a while, Y/n's Italian flowing out easily and by one, they say their goodbye's and Y/n hangs up.
"I don't know what's sexier.." Y/n turns to see Khloé standing against the doorway, a smirk on her lips, "you speaking Italian, or taking care of a sick baby. Or both." Y/n smiles, gently holding True close as she stands, but lets Khloe walk over to her.
"Tutti e due." Khloe smirks and leans down to kiss her girlfriend's lips.
"Think you can leave early?"
"Sì." Y/n smirks and soon she's collecting her things, passing True over to her mommy amd taking the day off to be with her two favorite ladies.
