Honestly, this might go really bad, and so I won't fuck it up I changed it so now it's two weeks after they get back from Earth 1 or wherever they're coming back from...

You'd figured, if you pay over $100 bucks for a gppd cell service, you'd still get it if you went to another dimension. But apparent 'dimension hopping service' is extra, and no one wants to pay extra for that. So when Kara landed back at the DEO where her phone did in fact have service, she was surprised to see over 150 phone calls from different people, but most of them are from Lena and her girlfriend. The first two voicemails were from Eliza, telling her to be safe and to come visit soon. And then, well that's where it goes downhill for Kara.
The first voicemail she got from Y/n, was asling if she could have the extra potstickers and would buy her more when she got back. Then Lena had called asking if they had the baby colors picked out yet, and to have a relaxing time at Eliza's. Then from the screaming and crying of the next ten voicemails from both ladies, she knew Y/n was having her baby. And the last messaged she got was from Lena chewing her out on missing her daughters own birth.
"Kara?" Oliver looks at Kara, but she's already gone by the time he opens his mouth again. She quickly flies to L-Corp, hearing all three familiar heartbeats in Lena's office. But when she gets there, the balcony doors that are usually open, are closed and locked. Kara taps on the doors, both ladies staring at the hero, but make no move to open the doors. Only when Supergirl gives her super pout, does Lena heave a sigh, and open the doors.
"Y/n, Miss Luthor I-"
"I called your name..." Kara looks over at Y/n, sending her a confused look, but Y/n keeps talking. "When I went into labor. I called your name, but you didn't come. I screamed your name when calling Kara didn't work. Kara missed her own daughters birth and I couldn't reach her! I screamed for you so you could get her for me, but you weren't there either!"
"I-I'm sorry.. Y/n, just-just hear me out. I wasn't visiting Eliza."
"Well no shit..." she mumbles, glaring at her suppose super friend. "Wait, you weren't? You went with Kara? Why?"
"I.. ugh... you see..." Kara sighed and pulled out her glasses, sliding them on and looking at her friend and girlfriend. While Lena was flabbergasted, Y/n looked... well, she looked like she knew?
"Why didn't you tell me sooner? Actually, where the fuck were you? I was pushing a baby out of my coochie-" Kara can't help but giggle, earning a glare from Y/n, "-and you weren't even there! Forget that you're Supergirl, you weren't there for our daughters birth!"
"If it means anything, I saved the world.." Y/n sends her a glare, then rolls her eyes. Lena, who's been quiet the whole time, looks slightly upset. "Lee?"
"You're my friend, my best friend. But that hurts for not telling me. I get there must have been reasons, but it hurts, a lot Kar."
"I know... and I'm sorry Lee. I really am. I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to you, to both of you."
"Oh, you are in the big dog house when you get home. You think the couch was bad, guess who's sleeping on the floor."
"O-okay."
"But first, come meet your daughter properly." Kara walks over to her girlfriend, seeing the small sleeping bundle in Y/n's arms.
"She's so tiny.." Kara looks at the baby with wide eyes, not wanting to pick her up, afraid that she would hurt her.
"It's okay Kara.." Y/n gave her a nod and handed Kara the baby, settling the little girl in her arms, and quickly showing Kara how to hold her.
"See, you're a natural love." Kara stared down at her perfect little girl, tears welling in her eyes as she finally saw the creation they made.
"She's perfect isn't she?" Kara gives a muted nod. She kisses her daughter's forehead, before speaking to her in Kryptonian.
"My little flower, you are loved and protected and your mother and I will always protect you. Your aunt Lena with will teach you chess and how to be a powerful CEO. Your aunt Alex with teach you about self-defense, uncle Winn will teach you about computers. You will be surrounded by love my little flower. We love you." She kisses her daughter's forehead again before she lays her back in her carseat.
"What did you say?" Lena asks, looking unsure of her friend.
"That you will teach her to play chess and to be a powerful woman. Alex will teach her how to defend herself and Winn will probably teach her to hack." Lena's eyes soften, and a small smile appears on her lips.
"Kara actually has something to tell you."
"Oh! Yea! We want you to be her Godmother!" Kara smiles happily, while Lena was in shock.
"M-me? W-why?"
"Oh don't give me that B.S. you know why Lee, so say yes, and that you'll protect her."
"Always." Both Y/n and Kara smiles, both of them looking down at their daughter, vowing to keep her life safe and happy.
