Jin was extremely tired that day and he decided that he will not go to work. He knew for sure that he cannot focus on his work when he is thinking where Taehyung might have went. He also hadn't called Taehyung's family. He doesn't want them to worry too much knowing Tae's family, they will move heaven and Earth to find Tae.
He started thinking where will he find Taehyung next. He doesn't have any idea. Especially when Tae did not tell him what is happening. He is now over thinking. He is having a conversation to himself.
'What if he doesn't want me anymore that is why he didn't show up?'
'Don't be silly! He loves you. Don't doubt his love for you. Maybe something came up.'
'But why is he not answering the phone. Why won't he tell me? Maybe he got in an accident! No no no!'
He is stated to panic with his own thoughts.
'But I'm his emergency person. The hospital will contact me if something happened right?'
'But what if he lost it in the way to the hospital? That is why I'm not hearing anything from him!'
With these thoughts Jin started shaking and his heart beats frantically with tears welling up in his eyes. He can't accept that those things might happen to Taehyung that is why he is not answering him. He cried for hours and hours still trying to call Taehyung but his phone is still off.
Again, he tried to ask Taehyung's co-workers if he had shown up in his work. But Tae is nowhere to be found.
'Should I tell his parents now?'
'I don't think I should. They would just worry. They are old and they should not be stressed. Taehyung wouldn't want his parents to be stressed out because of him.'
'But he's gone'
'It has not been 24hours yet. I can't report it to the police. I should handle this by my own.'
Jin tried his best to calm down. He needs to calm down or else he wouldn't think of what he needs to do. This is the first time he has experienced this kind of panic in his entire life. And he can't even seem to stand up and get out of bed his energy has been drained with the amount of tears he cried last night. He tried to got up but his knees betrayed him. He fell to the floor and he almost felt like fainting.
He is helpless. He again cried, thinking how can he find Taehyung if he is in that kind of situation. He tried to get up. He needs to move.
This time he managed to get up and decided that he needed to at least eat to fill up the lost energy. As he is eating, he is planning where to go and search for Taehyung. But before that he needs to at least try and call him again before leaving the house. When he finished eating he then took a bath to clear his head. The bath seemed to do the trick, he is calmer now, though he still worries, he is not shaking anymore.
He grabbed his phone and dialled Tae's number again. This time it's ringing again. It gave Jin a ray of hope. His heart pace quicken. Anticipating Taehyung to answer.
A few more rings and Tae finally answered his phone. Jin can't contain his emotions. It's as if the world's weight has been lifted off from his shoulders.
"TaeTae! What happened to you? Are you okay? Where have you been? I'm worried about you."
"Jinnie, calm down. I'm okay. There has been an emergency in my parents house they needed me. I'm sorry I was not able to tell you I was in panic last night. I'm sorry."
"No, it's okay. I'm actually relieved that you are okay. I almost thought that you got in an accident. Thank goodness you are safe."
As Jin say those word, he felt alive again now that he knew where Taehyung is. He asked more questions about Taehyung's whereabouts and he found out that he will be staying there for three days. As much as he wanted to come, he can't. He still has a lot of work to do. He just asked Taehyung to telk his parents that he wished them well. And with that he ended the call.
Jin lied again on his bed. Feeling all the tiredness he has encountered since last night. He then thought that now is the time to truly rest. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep peacefully and dreamt of him and Taehyung in his sleep.
