Taehyung's POV
After that talk with Hypnos, i planned on talking to Jin. I need to let him know about my plans. I don't want to hide anything from him. I won't allow him to stop me either even if he begged. I need to do this for him. I'm afraid of what's his reaction is, I'm feeling terrified more than when I almost died before. Will he leave me? There's one way o find out. Wheter he leaves me or nor I'll still continue this plan.
I entered our apartment and saw Jin on the bed reading a book. Inguess there's no turning back now. I went to him and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"I missed you Tae."
He smiled at me. I was always taken aback when he smiles like that. Now, I have gitten more determined to carry on with my plan, I swore to keep that smile on his face.
"Jin, I have to tell you something."
Well, it's now or never. Fuck! I'm nervous.
"I'm listening."
I gulped down hard. I need to to this. He deserves to know.
"Jinnie, what I'm about to tell you is a secret I've kept this from you for a long time. Please don't hate on me. You deserve to know this."
"What is it Tae, I'm getting nervous here. Tell me. I'll listen."
"I am a bad man Jin. I killed tons of people before. I used to kill for a living. I jave taken away lives mercilessly. It started when I was 16. I joined the league and got my firstborn kill when I was 17. They called me "Erebus" I've been in that business until I'm 20. It's three years yet I've done a lot of horrible things. I don't intend to hide this from you, it's just that I am afraid that you'll depise me and leave me. But now I'm taking the risk to be honest with me, just like how you are to me.
Why am I saying you this? It's because I want to let you know that I will take things in my hand now. And by that I mean I'll get my hands dirty again. I can't promise that I'll not kill those bastards, Jin. I can't. But I wanted to do something. I'm tired of waiting for something to happen. It's been a month yet no lead to anything. I can't bear to let you be in danger. If you wish to leave me, I won't stop you, just let me take care of you until this is over."
I was panting as I sad those words. I'm afraid of his response. I'm breaking into cold sweat. I just hope Jin won't despise me. But that was too much to ask. After what he heard? Will he still stay?
"Tae, look at me. You made me realize a lot of things. And one of this is Just because we are tainted, doesn't mean we can't be beautiful. Remember I told you I love you right? And just as how you accepted me, I'll accept you too without passing judgement. That's your past and thank you fr trusting me.
And as for avenging me, I don't want to lose you Tae. Don't hurt yourself. Don't do that for me. Our baby needs you. I don't want the father of my child gone before he is Born."
I let my tears fall at what he said. Why is is easy for him to accept me? Just like that? He is really pure.
And also, he said "our baby". That's a first. I pulled him into a hug.
"I can't promise you that I won't do anything Jin. But I'll promise you, I'll come back to you in one piece."
He chuckled a little. Ah, music to my ears.
"Okay. I trust you. I hadn't known I have a badass of a boyfriend here."
He teased me. And with that I smiled with him. I never know this will be this easy. Thank God!
"Tae, you said they called you Erebus right? I think I have heard that before. I mean here take a look."
He handed me his diary, I saw names. Familiar names. Too familiar in fact.
"Erebus, Nix, Hypnos"
"I can't clearly remember what they said. Just those names. I think I was drifting to sleep that time when they said that."
My hands felt cold.
So it has something to do with me. Who the fuck is Nix?
My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang.
"E, I've found Jungkook. You're on Jin's apartment right? I'll go there to confirm if it's him."
"Already? That fast? How?"
I still can't believe it. How come? Three hours? Just three hours?
"I'll explain later. I'm on my way. Tell Jin about me."
He ended the call. He's right I should tell Jin.
"Jinnie, I don't know who Nix is. But I know Hypnos very well. And he is coming over in a short while. He's with Jungkook."
"Jungkook! How?"
"Connections, maybe."
After a few minutes the doorbell rang, I opened the door and saw Hypnos with a man. Maybe younger than us. So this is Jungkook. He looks innocent. Is this really him?
"Come in."
I motion them to come in. When Jin took notice of Hypnos his eyes widen. He is surprised, for sure.
"Jin, this is Hypnos."
"YOONGI?!"
