The Body Swap (completed)

CHP6

The three of them ended their conversation with the conclusion of nothing . They hadn't got a single idea with why they are still swapping. Alex believed that it must have been a complication when she interacted with the machine.

It was a Friday so they had to go to school. Alex made Luke close his eyes in order to change his clothes. She on the other hand had no problem with her outfit.  They walked their separate ways and each individual arrived where they were supposed to be.

Nick and Alex walked through the busy hallways of the school but every here and then someone would either greet Luke or give him a high five which made it harder for Alex. After a moment Nick entered their classroom, leaving Alex all alone.

She continued to walk and stopped midway to wherever she was going.

Ah crap...I forgot to ask Nick what Luke's schedule is. Even his locker where all his book is. Damn it!

A woman in her early forties interrupted her thoughts. Alex began to feel nervous since she didn't know everyone here.

"Hey Luke, don't forget to meet me in the music room alright kiddo? We need to briefly discuss about it after classes is over."

Alex smiled meekly and nodded her head.

"You're a good kid Luke....different from the others here which makes me wonder , why don't you have a girlfriend yet? I mean you're sweet and kind, you got the looks and the voice..."

Good kid?

"Umm--I suppose I haven't found Mr. Right yet."Alex found herself replying.

She could tell by the expression on her face that she was caught by surprise. Had she said something wrong?

"Mr. Hudson...I never knew you were gay. But that's alright I guess, I respect it."She smiled sweetly at her.

Oh fudge. She mentally slapped herself. She's still not used to this body she said something she shouldn't have.

"Oh did I say Mr. Right? I meant Ms. Right. Sorry I'm just tired." Alex tried to reason out.

"You've been working too hard. Rest more will ya? How would you focus more on your studies if you're restless? I need to go now Mr. Hudson. See you soon." With that she left her.

RIIINNGG! The busy halls turned into an empty one in a blink of an eye . Alex entered the classroom with nothing but  only  a bag with a pen and random notebook inside. What subject is this?

The teacher ,unlike her first encounter yesterday was actually nice. He didn't ask questions on her whereabouts just now nor did he glare at her or something. Everything was going smoothly until Luke's phone buzzed indicating a call from Alex....Luke.

His ringtone was echoing around the room. Everyone looked at her. The teacher stopped for a moment to look at her.

"Ahem. And what seems to be the problem Luke?"

Fake laughter came out of her throat. Alex continuously pressed the red button on the screen to disregard the call.

What the hell does he want?! Why the fuck didn't he mute his phone?! This guy....

"Dude, you've got to kill that thing man." A guy whispered besides her.

She nodded and faced the teacher.
"No problem. Just someone unimportant."She excused but then yet again Luke called. This time she looked at the teacher asking for permission. He sighed and reluctantly gave the go sign. Alex stood up and excused herself.

Once outside the classroom , she irritatedly picked up the phone.

"What do you want Luke? I made a scene because of you!"she said.

"Well I'm sorry for whatever happened but you've got to help me here. I think I am dying..." She heard him groan in pain.

"Why what's wrong?"She asked. Her heartbeat quickened knowing that it was her body. "An accident happened? Luke tell me...what the fuck happened?!"

"No. No accidents." This made her feel relieved. "Then what happened?"

"I am currently crouched in a cubicle because my lower abdomen hurts. It seriously hurts. I tried to ignore the pain but it frickin hurts....I can't.Alex what the heck should I do?"

"What---"She was confused at first but then it came to her. This could only mean one thing. It's her time of the month! She was embarrassed. Not only because a man was experiencing his first menstruation in all time of history in her body but also because she knew that there is no way to handle this but for him to see her most precious area. Especially because they switch bodies !

There has got to be another way!

Alex did nothing but to sigh. "Congratulations Luke. You are the first male to ever experience having a period."

"Say what?"

"Just stay there and I'll find a way to go there."She said and ended the call. Just in time , the teacher came out of the room.

"Everything alright Luke?"He asked concerned.

Alex tried her best to formulate a lie in her head. "Ummm...actually no. My grandmother got into an accident and she's in the hospital right now."

"That's sad to hear. What happened?"

"She..." Come on Alex think! Think of something, anything! "Went skydiving and there was some kind of complication regarding her parachute."

What the hell was that? God why would an old woman go skydiving?

"Oh wow. How old's your grandmother?" He asked again , a bit taken aback by what she said.

"Uhhh-----seventy...three." For a couple of seconds both stared at each other silently.

"Okay then. Mr. Hudson I am giving you the freedom to go see your grandmother."He said and by the sound of his voice, he was still surprised by what she said.

"Thanks sir! Thanks a lot!"Alex made a run for it.

"If his grandmother could go skydiving , does that mean I could still teach my mom how to ride a bike?"He stated to himself before going back in his class.

In a jiffy, Alex made it to East High panting and out of breath. She made a stop infront of the school to catch her breath before proceeding to run to the nearest bathroom since the school had 5 bathrooms. Each containing 6 cubicles.

At the first lavatory she got no luck but when she checked the second, she heard someone making dying whale noises inside a stall.

"Luke is that you?"She peeped in from the door.

"Alex. I'm in here."Someone whispered back. Hurriedly , she went inside and knocked on the stall which Luke opened in almost an instant. He was seated on the toilet holding his lower abdomen in pain.

"Help me....I think I'm dying."

'What's with that look?' she thought. He looked like a kid who just stepped on legos and is trying to hold his tears in.

"We've got to make this snappy. If even a single woman saw me enter a female bathroom, this is going to be the end of me."

"Not exactly you by the way. That's still my body you know." He said. She rolled her eyes by his statement.

Since Alex made him wear a jacket, she had the idea to cover up his behind until they get home and think of another way. Luke tied the jacket around his waist, following her instructions.

Alex unlocked the door of the cubicle and opened it as wide as can be just as three ladies, one being Alex's friend entered the bathroom.

Oh crap.
