Nothing can be heard but the sound of silence. Nick, Luke and Alex just didn't know what to say first.

The woman looked at the rear-view mirror and sighed. "I can sense you've got questions to ask me."

Alex shifted in her seat."Frankly we do. First off, who are you? Why'd you offer us a ride? What did you do at the bank?"

"The name's Sonya. And I just deactivated a bomb back there which was in the brief case you saw me holding." She even said those words like it was the most casual thing ever.

"Wait what? Where was it located?" Nick asked.

She glimpsed at us for a moment before looking back at the road.

"Inside the vault in the safe. So we had to fake that I rented a safe deposit box to get inside."

"I'm sorry but you can't just fake that without getting caught. It's almost impossible."Luke interrupted.

"But we just did."

Nick looked at her for a while. "I know you're a team but can you expand on who this we is?"

Sonya tucked her hair behind her ear to reveal an almost unnoticeable earpiece.

" Hacker is our eyes and is just sitting down at our base looking at the computer screen."

"Tsk. I'm the one who got your arses covered." John said but of course only Sonya can hear him.

"Then we have Steel and Gunman, the two idiots that happen to be on the team . They are  busy trying to break into other banks to deactivate the bombs implanted there."

"Stop saying bullshit there Athena. We're here working our arses off."

"Yeah. You just happen to have the easiest bank to fool."

"How many banks has a bomb hidden somewhere?"Nick muttered.

"About 10."She replied to Nick's question. "And of course your twit of a dad, Alpha who is busy trying to catch the bombers' arses.He's actually the one who told me to give you a ride."

"I heard that."

"Of course you heard that , you ass."

Luke looked outside the window"So now where are you taking us?"

"I'm taking you back to base. By the way, you suck at spying on people."

Their base was an abandoned house located at a remote area of the city. The outside looked nothing like the inside. It even looked bigger in the inside than looking at it from the outside.

Indeed, there was a man sitting in front of a dozen of computer screens. He made it look like he was a security guard in a control room.

"Glad you're back." Hacker said, not averting his eyes on the screen. Sonya took the swivel chair beside him.

"How are the guys doing?"

"I don't know. You can just ask them. They can still hear you, you know."

Luke and Alex looked around while Nick watched the action in amazement . Just behind the seemingly 'control room' was a table full of guns displayed. There was also a board on the wall full of pictures and newspaper pieces with a red yarn connecting them.

The other room was an armory. Alex immedietly recognized some of the guns–beretta m9, sniper rifle , FN FNC,Glock 17–due to Isabelle's influence on video games. She's a heck of a gamer.

"Damn." That's the only word that came out of Luke's mouth. He was pretty much flabbergasted.

Alex smiled. "This setting is like that old movie. You probably don't even know it–it's called Fugitive. Wait.. or was it ... I don't even know anymore." She let out a low laugh.

"The Fugitive It's about that man who got framed and is trying to prove his innocence by finding out who really did it. Awesome flick."

She couldn't believe it. Someone actually knew the movie! Her mom, Sean and two friends never even heard of the movie.

"You really watched it?"She said in disbelief.

"Yeah. When Howard was looking for the mystery person, he found himself falling in love with Aubrey whom he happened to meet even though he's got a wife."

"That was a tough decision to make. But he deserved Aubrey more than the Linzay."

"How'd you come to that conclusion?" Luke was busy looking at the files and pictures scattered across the table with the guns.

"Well because if he really loved his wife then he shouldn't have fallen for Aubrey."

He stopped and stared at her for a while. "You've got a point. Still, Howard cheated on her yet she trusted him and supported him throughout the movie, did nothing wrong. Don't you think that's just cold?"

"Kinda. But it's love. He loves Linzay but he loves the Aubrey even more. They were the partners in crime. The two just spent more time with each other you know? Defeated the bad guys, proved his innocence and most importantly had an adventure together."

"Oh please. If you were in Howard's shoes would you really pick Aubrey and just leave Linzay? I mean think about it."

"I'd still pick Aubrey because I'm more happy being with her than being with Linzay."

"If you say so."

It was only after 10 minutes before they heard 2 cars come up front the house. Alex waltzed out the door in anticipation. Two men came out of the first car and at the second was her father wearing a black cap, a gray shirt and cargo pants.

She felt a variety of emotions surface through her system when she saw his face again. She was angry but at the same time joyful.

"Hello Alexandra, nice to see you again." Alex stomped towards him and gave her best, punching his cheek. Luke and Nick came out just in time to witness the scene that was going on.His cheek reddened at the impact.

"I deserve that."

Her hands wrapped around him which startled him a little. She missed having him around. With a warm smile on his face, he hugged her back.

"I missed you so much."

"Missed you too Xandra. It's been a long time since we spoke again."

They broke the hug. Ethan caressed his daughter's face. "Now, what made you follow Sonya?"

"Uhh--about that."That was the only time when Ethan noticed Luke and Nick.

"Who are they?"

"They're my friends and we're here for something."

Though Luke was nervous, he tried his best to hide it."Hi sir my name is Luke and this is my little brother Nick"

He nodded as a response. "And what might that something be?"

For whoever is reading this book thank you very much.. Now there are some problem regarding it though, some chapters are unpublishing itself and some chapters ,when published,are being doubled. I don't even know what is happening....I'll try my best to fix it so please bear with me..
