Ethan , with a can of beer in hand,  was standing on the roof of the hotel building they checked on overlooking the city. Hacker spoke through the earpiece informing him that he successfully got in their security cameras.

The sound of footsteps resonated behind him. He didn't mind turning around to see who it was because he already knew.

"What now Nat?"He said calmly.

"The party starts in an hour.... Just to let you know."

He turned around to look at his sister who was  a few feet away from him. "I already know."

Nat said nothing in response and sighed. She took steps closer and hugged him. Like it would be her last.  "Everything's going to be alright Ethan, tomorrow it'll be back to normal." She whispered.

"I sure hope so."

"Expect that Vanessa's boyfriend will come barging in like he owns the place."Nat chuckled as she broke the hug and looked deep into his eyes.

"That dick will come for sure."

An hour passed by and guests were already gathered in the venue. Music was playing. People were chattering with champaigne in their hands, not knowing that they would be part of something unimaginable. That their body would soon serve as a vessel of other people.

Luca Ricci along with Dr. Stanley accompanied by Kristina smiled from the second floor. "I'm glad that you made it to my party, Mr. Stanley." His voice was deep and raspy. His skin was pale and his lips were dry.

If he gets his hands on that machine, then he could save his entire family including his own. He hated that he and his family is suffering from an unknown sickness and is reducing their longevity so he grabbed the opportunity of this rejuvenescence the moment he heard of it. Once they are in healthy bodies , they can and will show the nations of the world their power. They could just use Hades–a technology of their own that is even stronger than a nuclear bomb and drop it anywhere. Let the blame start the war between nations. Until then will peace truly be attained.

Dr. Stanley put his hands in the pockets of his tux. "I wouldn't want to miss this glorious event. Soon enough these people will rejoice that they would die in what probably is the key to unending life and I wouldn't want to miss that happen."

Luca grinned and took a sip from his champaigne." So where is the machine?"

"We encountered a bit of a problem but don't worry it is already resolved." Dr. Stanley replied surely.

This information made Ricci a bit unnerved. "Tell me about this problem."

"Someone stole a part of my machine. Without this part , it wouldn't be able to work. But we've got something precious of his that he'll be willing to give up the part just like that. We've got his daughter."

At the back of his mind, Luca knew that this was trouble. He immediately voiced out his thoughts. "Mr. Stanley I don't want anything to happen which is out of the plan. Make sure that this person who took a part of your machine doesn't screw everything up and I might consider making you a part of my company and giving you double the said price."

" He wouldn't screw it up. I assure you."

"Well you need to make sure that what you are saying is true. I am running out of time and I'll stop yours too if you don't stick to the plan." He turned and walked away , his men following him like dogs.

Viktor snarled at him once he was a distance away. "Motherfucker."He muttered.

"Just say the words and I'll fuck his ass."Kristina said.

"Don't. We still need that prick. Keep an eye for those troublesome dicks. I'm expecting their arrival." He fixed his tie and got a glass of champaigne from the waiter.

"Will do."

Sweat rolled down Alex's face like a waterfall. Both her and Luke got a bomb tied around them. But it was clear that she was much more panicked, much more scared than Luke.

"Luke....I'm fucking tired."She whimpered, trying her best to keep still and balanced. They made her and Luke stand on one feet and if they even think about standing on two feet, the bomb around them would go off killing not only them but enough to kill half the people attending the party.

"Alex don't even think about it. Hey, look at me..look at me."Luke said as she breathed harder and closed her eyes. She did as he said and stared at him.

"Focus on me and don't think about anything else. Okay?"

"Okay...okay."

"That's it. You're doing great. Keep it up."

Her leg was trembling and ready to give up any moment. She could see Luke's leg shaking as well. If possible, she could hear her heart roaring in her ears.

Though she was panicking and scared, something about Luke's soothing voice calmed her down. She hates to admit it but she really does like Luke.

The door opened. In came Kristina in her fancy attire, looking at them in disgust.

"Good to see that you little craps didn't do anything funny."

Alex still had the guts to speak up. She couldn't explain it but Kristina made her feel pissed. "Hey lady even though I can't look at you straight in the eye at the moment I want you to know that my dad is gonna shove his arm in your fucking throat."

Alex heard the clacking of heels on the floor followed by a hot breath near her ear. She shivered."When your dad arrives, he is going to   get it for what he did to my brother. I will shove his head up your mom's ass if we return. Now be a good girl and keep still." Kristina whispered as she played with Alex's hair.

She smiled and went over to Luke, and levelled her mouth near his ear just like what she did to Alex. "Keep still for me baby." Luke flinched, still maintaining eye contact with Alex.

"Well...I've got to go, the party is about  to start. Behave you two." She turned her head to the two guarding them. "Keep an eye on them and don't do anything that would screw this crap up."

"Don't worry Kristina. We got this." She exited the room, the door closing behind her. She spoke to the others through her earpiece. "Keep an eye around the vicinity and be alert. They are out there somewhere."

"Understood."

"Copy that."

"Ethan......" He looked over his shoulder to see Sonya. "....it's time."

He smiled. "Then let's do this."
