I couldn't just let her walk away. This had gone on too far. It had gone on too long. Ed encouraged me to follow her. But hadn't she made it clear that she didn't ever want to talk to me? Hell, she'd stormed off at the very idea of having to kiss me. I was the last person on earth who should be running after her right then.

'Dan.' Kyle was now pushing me too, physically and verbally.

'No. Isn't it obvious that she hates me?' I protested.

'She doesn't hate you.' Ed told me. Which stunned me. Because I was fairly sure she did hate me. And why wouldn't she? I hated me too. 'She told me everything. She knows you fucked up but I think she still loves you.'

'Funny way of showing it.' I sighed.

'Girls.' Kyle shrugged.

'Go after her.' Ed told me. 'Try.'

I had roughly four seconds to make up my mind before she disappeared into the sea of tents and I would lose my chance forever.
