then he looked at me
and he told me
he loved me
he said
that he looks
at the stars every night
and that they don't
amount
anywhere near me
he said
that he wants to go
forever
to infinity and beyond
he said
that i had sparkly eyes
and a warm smile
that i powered through
and that i lead the grounds
letting nothing
get in my way
he said
that he loved me
even when i cried
a little too hard
that night
even when
i get a little
insecure
sometimes
he said
that he loved me
and that
all of time
wasn't enough
for us
he said
our love was more
than the constrictive
forevers
he told me
that even the word
love
couldn't explain
how he feels for me
so
i told him
actions speak
louder than words
then he held my hand
kissed me gently
and reminded me of this
for the next few infinities.
