you are not my soulmate
i could tell
by your piercing brown eyes
ready to take a stab at
my hearti could tell by your
serpent tongue
and sharpened teethjust ready to take a bite
out of my
pomegranate thighsi could tell by the
way you ended that sentence
with a knife instead of a periodbut you sound like you're on
you're periodi know you're not my soulmate
i could feel it as you
squeeze my heart
like a stress ballpopping like
a water ballooni know you're not my soulmate
becausei am the one
who caused this murder scene
you adorei'm the monster
you're afraid ofi know you're not my soulmate
and i'll keep this in mind
as you prove me otherwise---
we're not soulmates
but that doesn't mean
i don't love you.
