i don't know
what heaven is likebut based
on what you told me
i'm just saving up
good deeds
just to be rich up thereso i can have gold
and pretty giant mansions
on clouds softer
than you've ever seenbut i have a question
why bother with good deedsif we are only in it
for the good stuff?isn't jesus's act
kindness?based on
what you told me
when i get to the gates
my name will be on this long listthis long list of
person after person
inscribed with the blood
of godbut what about
those who don't get to be
on that list?from what you told me
if i choose my own death
than god won't see me worthyand i will
be sent
to the red hills of hell
scorched in the levels
of this dark abyssbut what about
the many heroes?do they get a pass
on everything?are they going
to be rich
up there
if they do?from what you told me
all the times
i left myself to rot
and survivedwere just chances
given by godbecause i still
have a moment
some revolution to makebut what about the people
who lose on the first try?what about them?
are they going to
burn alive?be tortured
for the choices
of not being
able to
handle the hellcalled real life
where do they go?
are they stuck in purgatory?are we just
all sinners
heading to hell?why are you
warning me
about satanwhen you haven't
checked the lists of sins
you have done
yourself?why does jesus
only die on the cross
for you?"cast a stone
for those
who had not sin"
you say"spare the rod
and spoil the child"
you remind mebut i swear
you used that rod
on me
after eating some McDonaldsusing that
like it's
the most commonly
used item
in our housei don't know what
heaven is likebut i swear
sometimes
you make it
sound worst
than hell.
