you're just another
goddamn poem
you're another tragedy
i must talk abouti must write about
i must talk about
the way
you loved
your poisoni must talk about
how your fists
we're hammers
and your knives were wordsthe ocean
you forced yourself
to drown ini must talk about
the shards
you threw at me
that had broke
your heartyes
you're just another
goddamn poembut i must write
about the psycho lovers
that painted red
on our floorsthe guilty nights
that i heard you mourn
that i heard you
screamyour beliefs
on someone
who wasn't even
listeningyes
this poem
has the treacherous word goddamnbecause
screw YOUR version
of god
screw your candles
screw your war roomscrew your stupid
christian musicthat you blast loudly
as you pull a Noah's ark
in your bedroomyour
scratched up voice
your high pitch noisethe tragedies
you had years agoscrew the fear
i feel i will always
have of youscrew you
for ALWAYS finding ways
to make me angryand screw me,
for looking fortoo many ways
to say i am
without hurting you.
