What is up^ my dudes. I'm fixing to be like every other fanfic writer on this app, and give you the most famous AU where whatever one writes on his skin, it'll appear on his soulmates. Sorry not sorry. Also song has nothing to do with this part.

I sat there watching flowers pop up along  my arm. I was always so impressed by my soulmates artistic abilities. Of course, he or she had written on their arm before, but I was too scared to write back.
I sighed, watching words pop up now.
Hello beautiful
I giggled, they had never called me that before. Shaking, I grabbed a pen from my desk. Hi I wrote.
There was nothing for a moment. Oh my gosh! You wrote back?! I was worried there was nobody there for like ever!
I giggled again. Well, I'm here.
     Where do you live?
     Tulsa, Oklahoma. You?
Holy shittt same! Are you a girl or boy? He asked. Not that I care or anything, just wondering.
     Boy. You?
I'm a boy too. Well, I'm 17. How old are you?
     16
     Aw cute.
I giggled. Nah that's all you.
     Hush, cutie.
     Stoppp, you're too much xD
You know what? We should meet up sometime. He said.
My heart thumped unevenly in my chest. Oh uhh, I don't know about that...
Oh ok... I could tell he was hurt. That's fine.
It's nothing personal... I'm just scared you won't like me.
Baby, how could I not like you, you seem amazing.
     You don't even know me...
That's why we should meet up!
I groaned. Alright. When and where?
Yessss thank you so much... and how about the DQ on Houston Street? And 3 o'clock?
Alright. That's only a few blocks from where I live.
Me too! How cool is that?
Very cool. Now good night. Get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow.
Alright cutie. Sleep good 🖤
I blushed crimson, before standing up and heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Finally, I slipped into bed, before the worst thought in the world popped in my head. What if I know him?!
I tossed and turned all night, trying to get that goddamn idea out of my head, but I couldn't. The only people I actually know well is the gang. Darry had found his soulmate, but she lived across the country in New York. Sodapop and Steve were actually soulmates. We were all shocked when they found out. Ponyboy and whoever his soulmate was would draw and write poems on themselves for the other, and Two-Bit just never wrote his soulmate back. He didn't care at all. That left Dally. I had seen him write the words on his arm, which would mysteriously end up on mine, but I refused to think that. There was no way, not a chance, that we were meant for each other.
It wasn't until two a.m. before I could finally fall asleep.

I groaned loudly as the alarm clock on my night stand went off at eight o'clock. Then I remembered last night. I sprang from my bed into my shower, taking time to wash my hair thoroughly.
I paced back and forth in my room, trying to find something to wear. Should I dress up? Or should I dress normally?
I finally decided on just dressing normal, I mean, what would the point of dressing up be?
I pulled a dark grey T-shirt out of the closet, along with a pair of dark blue jeans, and a jean jacket. I put all of them on, then looked in the mirror.
I tousled my hair. I guess I didn't look that bad. Just nervous, you could tell by how shiny my eyes were.
At two o'clock I decided to leave. Of course, the DQ was like a ten minute walk, but I was too nervous. I decided to go to the Curtis's house first; they were only like a block away. I could hang out there until closer to three.
"Hey johnnycakes," Soda said as soon as I walked in. "You ok? You look pale."
I nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. Just... uh a little nervous. I'm- I'm going to meet my soulmate today..." I trailed off.
"Oh you finally decided to write  back?" He asked excited.
I nodded. "Mhm."
"Oh don't be nervous kid, it'll all be fine. I promise."
I couldn't help but giggle. "That's easy for you to say, you soulmates been you best friend since kindergarten."
He laughed. "True, true. But it will be ok," he said. "And if not, call me and I'll come get you."
     I nodded. "Fair enough."
I glanced at the clock. 2:45
"Ah shit, I gotta- I gotta go... I'll see ya," I said, hopping up and running out the door.
I went into the DQ and sat in the furthest corner, drumming my fingers nervously against the table.
Please lord, I thought. Please let this go well.
