Johnny shrank back from Dally's furious face.
"I-I'm so sorry," he sobbed. "Please don't be mad at me!"
Johnny was surprise to feel his boyfriend's arms around his waist.
"I'm not mad at you baby, it's not your fault at all," Dally comforted him.
Johnny snuggled into him, placing his head on Dally's chest. He closed his eyes.
"Do you remember who it was?" Dally asked him gently.
Johnny squeezed his eyes shut, the flood of memories hitting him at full speed all at once. Still, he tried to act brave, so he dove into the memories.
After a moment he spoke. "Bob-Bob Shelton?" He whispered shakily. "Yeah, him and his friends."
Dallas stood abruptly, and he began to walk away.
"Where are you going?" Johnny asked him meekly.
He glanced down at Johnny, his gaze softening. "I'm taking you to the Curtis house, and I'm going to kick those socs ass," he explained.
"No!" The words bursted from Johnny's lips quickly. "I-please don't, you're gon-gonna get hurt," he cried, before collapsing in a heap on the sidewalk.
Dally cautiously kneeled in front of his boyfriend. "Honey, I think you're getting a little too worked up, let's just get you to Darry's house, ok?"
Johnny nodded, but mad no attempt to move. Dally stepped over to him, and picked Johnny up, cradling him to his chest.
Once they reached the Curtis' dally places Johnny on the couch, and he quickly fell asleep.
Dally stared at him for a few moments, then went to find Soda.
Dally found him in his room, combing back his hair.
"I need your help. I can't tell you what it is, and you can never ask me about it, but we're gonna hurt some people," Dally explained to Soda quickly.
Soda turned with an evil grin. "Who's car we takin?" He asked him.
Dally grinned back. "Mine. Let's go!"

Dallas sat back, breathing heavily, blood quickly oozing out of what he assumed to be his broken nose. He had a large cut on his forehead and some broken ribs for sure, and Sodapop didn't look much better than he did. But the socs looked worse. Way worse. And both Dally and Sodapop were ok with that.
They drove back to Soda's house, and walked inside. Johnny was still asleep on the couch, and Ponyboy sat curled up in the recliner, watching tv.
"Holy shit what happened to you guys?" Ponyboy asked, staring at up with big wide eyes.
"Language!" Soda snapped, looking around wildly for his older brother.
Dallas snickered. "We got into a little fight. But if you think we look bad, you shoulda seen the other guys."
"Don't let Johnny See you like this Dal... it'll break his heart. He's been so worried about you," Ponyboy told the blond quietly.
"Has he said anything to you?" Dally asked the younger boy.
Pony shook his head. "No. Not really, but I can tell there's something wrong."
Dally nodded, watching as Johnny started to stir. "I need to get cleaned up!" He whisper-yelled as he ran towards the bathroom.
Johnny's eyes fluttered open. "Hey Ponyboy," he mumbled. "Where'd Dal go?"
"The- uhh the shower," Ponyboy said quickly. A little too quickly, but Johnny was exhausted.
"Oh, ok," he yawned, before curling back up and falling asleep again.
Ponyboy went and sat by him. He knew there was something wrong with Johnny, he just didn't know what.
Dally reappeared, looking miraculously better than the last time. He looked down and Johnny, and scooped him up in his arms.
Johnny stirred, and his eyes fluttered open. "Hiya Dal."
"Hello, my prince," Dally whispered quietly in Johnny's ear, which made him shiver. "I'm gonna take you home, ok?"
Johnny nodded, closing his eyes once more. When he reopened them, he was in Dally's bed now. However, Dally himself wasn't there.
"Dal?" Johnny called out.
"I'll be right there!" He heard him call out.
Dally came in and sat cross-legged on the unoccupied side of the bed. "We need to talk," he began.
Johnny nodded in agreement, trying not to show how much he feared those four little words.
"Do you want to keep the baby?" He asked Johnny gently.
"Do you?" Johnny asked barely seconds after.
Dally cupped Johnny's face. "That's up to you my love, I want you to decide. I want you to be happy."
Tears began to leak out of Johnny's eyes, and he sniffled. Dally wrapped him up in a hug, holding him tightly.
"I wanna keep it," Johnny sniffled.
"Then that's what we'll do, ok?"
They both smiled at each other, before Dallas placed his gentle lips on Johnny's.
"I love you Dally," Johnny mumbled as they broke away.
"I love you more."
