Hey y'all so this isn't really an original idea but I can't remember the authors @ so shoutout to him or her or them.

I woke up in the hospital bed, but I felt different. Nothing hurt, my breath came easily, but the strangest part was the light blue glow that emitted around my body.
     "Hello?" I called out.
I received no answer, so I stood up and walked out of my room.
There was a nurse walking towards me.
"Excuse me," I said, then froze as she walked right through me.
I turned, mouth hanging open, to look at her. She shivered but kept walking.
"What the fuck," I muttered to myself, but I could hear the shakiness in my voice.
I walked towards the exit, and out into the warm setting sunlight. It warmed my skin, and I felt myself relax a bit. There were people out here. Maybe they could help me.
"Hey!" I said to a random man walking by. "Hey!"
I reached out to grab the man, but all that happened was my hand going right through him. I screamed in both annoyance and fear.
"Can anybody hear me?!" I cried.
     I received no answer.
Fuck

I ran to the Curtis house. Maybe they could help me. I slid to a stop in front of their door, reached up to knock, and my hand went right through it. Shrugging, I walked inside.
The scene inside broke my heart. Darry, Soda, Ponyboy, Two-Bit, and Steve all sat in the living room with puffy red eyes.
"S-so they're really both gone, huh?" Two-Bit asked shakily.
Ponyboy nodded. "When Johnny died, Dally snapped... I can't believe the police shot him."
"The police shot Dally?!" I cried, knowing none of them could here me.
Ponyboy burst into hysterical tears, and Soda wrapped his arms around him.
"Let's get you to bed, kid," he said.
I had to find Dally. I took off running through the wall, and back outside. I wasn't sure were I was going, but I felt drawn to the park, so that's where I went.
"Dally!" I called out frantically looking around.
"Johnny?!" I head him call back.
I spotted him, over by the large, gnarly oak tree. Dally too emitted a strange glow; his was darker than mine, but still blue.
I took off running towards him, collapsing in his arms before breaking down in sobs.
     "I m-missed you," I cried.
"I missed you too baby," he told me shakily.
"Why'd you do it? Y-you said you wouldn't do anything stupid while I was gone," I asked.
"I didn't promise..." he reminded me.
I continued holding him in my arms, until he finally broke the silence.
