Part three

I put on my skintight white T-shirt, my leather jacket, my jeans, and my converse, before combing my hair back into its usual style. I grabbed the keys to my thunderbird and headed out to pick up my lovely date, Cherry.
To say I was excited was an understatement. This girl was all I wanted and more. I grinned the whole way to her house.
When I arrived, I walked up to her front door, and knocked. She answered just a few moments later.
"Hey Dally," she purred, batting her long, dark lashes at me.
"Hey baby," I said huskily, smirking. "You ready for tonight?"
"You know it Dal." She grinned at me.
"I'm really excited."
"Me too. I'm so glad you broke up with that bitch ass boyfriend of yours," she said.
I opened my mouth to defend Johnny, but snapped it shut. I could not ruin this relationship. Not with her. I loved her, and she loved me.
She stepped out onto the porch, and I held out my hand. She gladly took it.
"I'm so excited. Where are you taking me?" She asked.
"Umm, I was going to take you to Mr. Steak. If that was ok?" I asked, not wanting to disappoint her.
Her smile fell the slightest bit. "Yes, of course. Anything with you. What else?"
Shit. She's way more complicated than Johnny, I thought to myself. "Umm... ice cream? And then the drive in?"
"Sweet," she said, sounding a bit put off. I didn't know what she had been expecting though. I was broke.
"I'm glad you're happy my sweet lady," I said as we reached my car. I opened the door for her, then shut it once she was in.

Once we arrived to  the restaurant, I opened all the doors for Cherry, trying my hardest to please her. I had never liked anybody more than her, even Johnny, which hurt to think about. I shook him from my head as we sat down at the table.
"You're thinking about him aren't you?" Cherry accused as soon as we were sitting.
"W-What? Hell no. You're the only one for me, sweet lady," I told her quickly. She rolled her eyes, but blushed the slightest bit.
"Well I know you're mind is on something else, and it better not be John- your ex," she said as our waiter walked up.
We both ordered a steak, and when the waiter left again, we started talking.
"I was not thinking about him," I snapped. "Am I not allowed to think at all with you?" I asked sarcastically.
She glowered at me and rolled her eyes. "Yes, of course you can think. I just don't want you thinking about that scum."
There were so many words I wanted to say to her, but I held my tongue. I didn't want to ruin our date. Soon enough, our food came, and we gladly started eating to avoid conversation.
Who does she think she is telling me what I can and can not think about. Nasty bitch has me on a short leash.
Finally, we finished, and I stood up to pay. I ,again, opened all the doors for Cherry, and we ran to get ice cream across the street.
I got regular vanilla and she got strawberry. As we were walking back to my car she took my hand.
"Sorry I said that earlier," she mumbled quietly, clearly not wanting to apologize. "I know I shouldn't have."
At least the broad knows how to apologize. "It's fine, I completely understand. But thanks for apologizing."
The night continued on in complete bliss, I even got a kiss. Until...
"Hey, what are you doin' with my girl?!"
I spun around in my seat. "Your girl? Listen buddy I'm on a date with her-"
"The hell you are. That's my girl. Get the fuck away from her!" The boy exclaimed.
I looked at Cherry, she was looking at the boy, the slightest smirk on her face. "Cherry what the fuck is going on?"
She opened her mouth, pretending to look sad. "Well you see, I was really only looking for a one night stand... but you clearly wanted more than that. I just wanted to see how far you'd go... and now you've broken Johnny's little heart-"
She kept talking, but I couldn't listen anymore. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. I had broken up with the love of my life for absolutely no reason at all.
"You're a fucking bitch!" I snarled, standing up and walking away from her, headed to my house. I decided to go talk to Johnny tomorrow, if I apologized, he would definitely get back together with me.
Right now though, I just needed a drink.
