"You were never mine, but losing you broke my heart," i whispered, gently brushing my fingers through Johnny's soft dark hair.
He blushed. "I can be yours now," he whispered back.
He looked up at me, with those dark puppy dog eyes of his, and I melted.
"I'd like that," I whispered, and I stopped down to place my lips against his.
"Faggots!"
Johnny and I broke our kiss, looking around for the voice. It was the fucking soc, Bob, that Johnny had killed a couple weeks ago.
The two of us stood, just looking at him, waiting. When he didn't speak, u did.
"Can I help you?" I asked, annoyed.
He scowled. "Listen here, asshole, your little boyfriend or whatever, killed me, and I'm gonna make him pay!"
"You lay a hand on him, and you're fucking dead," I threatened him.
"Dally," I heard Johnny hiss from behind me. "Let's just leave!"
"Hell no," I told him, as I stomped over to Bob.
I addressed him now. "Listen to me," I snarled. "If you don't get your ass out of here, I'll-"
"You'll what?" He cut in with a nasty smirk.
I punched him square in the jaw, and he collapsed.
"You motherfucking bitch!" He snarled, and spat out blood.
"Leave. Now!" I growled. "You can literally go anywhere in the world, I advise you do so."
With that, I turned and jogged over to where Johnny stood, with his mouth hanging open.
"Why'd you do that?" He asked me quietly.
"Because he was an ass. I think he'll leave us alone now though," I said with a shrug.
He hugged me. "Thanks Dally."
"You're welcome honey." I paused for a moment. "What do we do now?" I asked.
"I think we need to go to the Curtis' house," he whispered. "I-I went there before I knew you where here too... they were a wreck."
I nodded in agreement. "Let's go."

I followed Johnny through the wall and into the Curtis's living room. My heart lurched at the sight.
They all sat there, with red eyes. Ponyboy and Sodapop both held each other, crying their eyes out.
"Oh..." was all I could manage.
Johnny looked on silently, before his eyes lit up. "I have an idea hang on!"
He ran into Ponyboy's and Soda's room. All was silent until a loud thud echoed through the silent house.
     "What was that?" Soda sniffled.
"I dunno, I'll go look," Ponyboy responded to his brother.
I followed Ponyboy into his room, to find Johnny standing proudly over a boxed ouija board.
"Why does he have that?" I asked incredulously.
Johnny looked a bit sheepish. "When his parents died, I bought it for him. I-I thought it might make him feel better... but when he didn't get an answer he put it up."
"Oh..." I trailed off as I watched Ponyboy stare at the board wide eyed.
Johnny nudged it over towards him with his foot, but Ponyboy still didn't move. I ran to kick it but my foot went right through it.
I looked from the box to Johnny. "How'd you do that?" I asked him.
He shrugged. "Just don't think about it."
I went to kick it again, and this time it worked. I sent the box, board, and planchette flying. Ponyboy screamed.
The remainder of the gang was in his room in half a second. "What's wrong?"
"Why do you have a ouija board?!" Darry demanded.
"I-I uhh," Ponyboy squeaked out. "I think Johnny and Dally want us to play it?"
"Uh huh?" Darry pressed. "And how do you know this?"
"Well-well Johnny got me the board... and he's the only one that knows where I put it..."
"Oh, I'll grab a pen and paper!" Soda called, running into the living room to grab supplies.
"Woah woah woah, we are not playing a stupid game!" Darry called to his younger brother.
"Oh yes we are," Johnny snapped back, and stooped down and grabbed the planchette.
     The gang screamed.
