Chapter Twenty One: Reunite

We've been walking for 15 hours now since we took another route to avoid clashing with the ruthless, cunning and filthy dark mages.

"Kung di lang kita kilala masyado Nia, I'll think that you're suffering from Alexithymia." Cashiella said bago ko naramdaman ang pagsundot ng daliri nya sa pisngi ko.

"How can you maintain that cold and emotionless face?" Pahabol na tanong nya while walking backwards because she's busy studying my face.

"How can you ande Helios understand each other without showing what you really feel through emotions?" Sunod na tanong nya kaya natigil ako sa paglalakad bago sya nginisihan.

"It's really not your business but trust me. Me and Hel are like different people when we're together, especially in bed." Seryosong sabi ko making her jaw drop.

Nagkibit-balikat na lang ako bago sya nilagpasan dahil hindi parin sya gumagalaw sa kinatatayuan nya.

Pero hindi pa man ako tuluyang nakakalayo ng marinig ko ang tili nya.

"Yuck Nia! I need not to know that much information!" Inis na reklamo nya na ikinangiti ko na lang ng tipid.

It' really so fun to make fun of her.

"Malapit na tayo!" Lukas shouted kaya naman mas binilisan ko pa ang lakad ko. I am now heading the group at tanaw ko na din ang malaking tarangkahan ng Heleina Cross Alta Guild.

I was greeted by a line of army the moment I entered the gate. They were all saluting kaya naman I commanded them to stand at ease.

Second lieutenant Ione Max, handed me a black hardbounded file na mabilis ko namang binuksan at binasa. As usual, it's about me reporting to the council board office for an official filling of a mission.

I closed the file and handed it back to Ione bago hinarap ang mga kasamahan ko at ang mga fire mage na kasama namin.

"I suggest you let your people stay on Alta Ville for the meantime before I ask someone to open up the entrance to your realm." Mabilis na sabi ko sakanya habang tinatanggal ang battle suit ko.

I handed it over to Lukas bago tinuloy ang sinasabi ko.

"I bet you're already dying to know the answers to your questions so I am going to give you the previledge to." I said bago nagpatawag ng karwahe.

"Can I come?" Piero Dean asked habang nagpapalipat-lipat ang tingin saaming dalawa ng ama nya.

"Of course you can." Tanging nasagot ko na lang dahil nakaparada na sa harap namin ang karwaheng sasakyan ko.

"You'll ride the next one. I'm really not comfortable with anyone watching me change my clothes." Napa-irap na lang ako ng mag-iwas ng tingin si Piero Dean while the old man laugh his ass out.

Sumakay na lang ako sa karwahe para mas mabilis naming marating ang palasyo.

I know that this would be a huge blow for all them but I think na ito na ang panahon para maayos nila ang lahat ng gusot between all of them. They wasted enough time and I think they both deserve to be happy.

Gaya nga ng sinabi ko ay sa karwahe na ako nagbihis ng mas pormal na kasuotan dahil papunta parin naman ako sa palasyo to host an important moment on my aunt's and my cousin's lives.

From that dirty rougish look woman warrior ay nagtransform ako into a respectable elegant looking princess dahil sa suot ko.

Well, Tita Helena and Zeke is quite sensitive of what I wear kaya they personally instructed~threatened Aunt Jody, the official royal designer, to make my dresses look wonderfully elegant and wholesome.

Right now, I'm wearing a bust hugging gown with a formal looking skirt na walang kahit anong palamuti. Medyo paballoon lang sya dahil sa tatlong layer ng telang nasa ilalalim ng main fabric ng damit ko. I also fixed myself with simple and basic of the basic make up na itinuro saaking gawin ni Cashiella dahil nga sa mga ganitong klase ng biglaang event.

I just let my hair down at sinuot ang korona ko to set it all up.

Saktong pagtigil ng karwahe ang paglapag ko ng high heels ko sa sahig ng karwahe. So, I wore it immediately kaya right after the guard opened the carrage's door ay nakasuot na ako ng heels at all set na for this important happening.

Dahan-dahan akong bumaba sa karwahe na para bang isang prinsesa talaga na hindi makabasag pinggan.

"Welcome home, Princess Ireneia Xyke." Bati nila saakin habang naglalakad ako papasok ng palasyo kasunod sina Piero Dean at ang ama nito na manghang-manghang nakatingin saakin.

I rolled my eyes because I get that expression a lot. Everytime kasi na magaayos ako to become and to look like the princess that I am, parang natutulala na lang sila saakin.

Well lalo na si Hel.

I turned around and faced the both pf them.

"The ushers will lead you to Tita's study. Doon na lang kayo maghintay." Tinalikuran ko na din naman sila after receiving a nod from the both of them.

Dumiretso ako sa kwarto ng pinsan ko to check kung nandun ba sya. Reaching his door step ay kumatok muna ako ng dalawang beses para pagbuksan nya ako. Zeke hates people entering his room without his permission. Well, I tried it once and he did not got angry but still, alam ko na ayaw nya so I avoid doing it kahit pa ba hindi naman sya nagalit saakin noong pumasok ako ng walang paalam.

Nang hindi sya sumagot at pumasok na ako.

I saw him sleeping on his king size bed at mukhang pagod na pagod. Umupo ako sa side ng kama nya at marahang hinaplos ang mukha at buhok nya.

I too, longed for your happiness Zeke and now I hope you'll finally have it.

I sighed out of contentment bago sya tuluyang tinapik tapik sa mukha para magising.

He groaned bago ako akmang itutulak ng batukan ko sya. He jumped out of the bed because of surprise and was about to get angry when he saw me.

"NIA!" Gulat na sigaw nya bago ako dinamba ng yakap.

"I'm glad you came back safe." Malumanay na bulong nya habang hinahaplos ang buhok ko.

"I missed you too Zeke." Natatawang sabi ko as I return his hug. We were on that position ng bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto nya at sumilip mula sa siwang na yun ang mukha ng isa sa mga kawal na nakaassign para bantayan si Zeke. His eyes widened when he saw me ngunit agad din namang nakahuma para batiin ako ng pormal.

"Mahal na Prinsesa. Maligayang pagbabalik po. Pinapasabi po pala ni Ginang Carlota na handa na ang mesa para sa magiging hapunan." Dire-diretsong sabi nya making Zeke's forehead crease.

"What's happening Nia?" He asked still with that confused expression on his face.

"Pasalubong ko sayo." Parang wala lang na sagot ko bago sya pinagtulakan papasok sa walk in closet nya. Ginamit ko ang oras na yun para puntahan si Tita.

Gaya ni Zeke ay sa kwarto ko nya sya nahanap. But unlike Zeke, she's awake and is sitting infront of her vanity mirror.

Agad nya akong nakita pagkapasok ko pa lang sa kwarto nya dahil sa salamin kaya naman binitawan nya agad ang suklay at mabilis na naglakad papalapit saakin.

"Ireneia!" Excited na tawag nya sa pangalan ko bago ako kinulong sa isang mahigpit na yakap. I let out a soft chuckle bago kumalas sa yakapan namin.

I stared at her face for a moment bago bumuntong hininga.

Sana maging okay na ang lahat.

"Tita I need you to meet someone." Seryosong sabi ko sakanya.

Pagkasabi ko pa lang ng mga salitang yun, parang alam na nya kung sino ang kailangan nyang harapin. The way her eyes tear up and her lips tremble,

I already know she's got the idea on who she'll face for the next minutes of her life.

"Where is he?"
