Chapter Seven Three: Risk

"Hindi parin ba sya nagigising?" Tanong ni Kairo saakin habang nakatingin sa pinto ng kwarto kung saan nagpapahinga si Cashiella.

I shook my head at tahimik na naupo na lang sa nakahilerang metal bench dito sa hallway ng healing center. I can't help but to feel anxious dahil sa mga sinabi ni Cashiella kanina right after she passed out.

"The answer lies not within the power. Weild wisdom, not sword. Shed no blood, but compassion. For every journey has its own end. Choose no side. Walk through torns and you shall find the light. Destruction will emerge. The angel of  death would come, bargain none. Prepare for what's about to come. The end is near"

The end is near.

That last statement was the one bothering me mula pa ng lumabas iyon sa bibig ni Cashiella. What end? She couldn't possibly mean the end of the entire magical kindgom right? It would be best if it was the end of the strife between Heleina and Zepero but if not, then I should at least look for a clue on what kind of end she was pertaining about on her trance.

"Hey Nia!" Napalingon ako kay Lynia na syang tumawag sa pangalan ko only to see her walking towards me with our other girl friends.

"Hey!" Bati ko naman sakanila pabalik bago tumayo para salubungin sila ng yakap. They returned the hug before turning their heads towards the door of Cashiella's hospital room.

"How's Cashie? Bakit nanaman daw sya nawalan ng malay? It's been a while since her last faint after a vision. Why so sudden?" Lynia asked still looking at the direction of the door.

"The healers are still checking up on her. But I have a hunch na dahil sa sobrang pagod kaya nanaman sya nahimatay. We just got off from training when she suddenly had a vision."

"Oh! Right! Speaking of vision. So what was her vision about?" Tanong ni Fritzale na hindi ko namalayan na nakasukbit na pala ang kamay sa braso ko like what she always do kapag nagkikita kami.

I sighed bago sinabi sakanila ang eksaktong mga salitang lumabas sa bibig ni Cashiella bago sya nawalan ng malay.

"The end huh?" Fritzale commented. All of them fell into their own pit of thoughts not until one of the healers incharged of Cashie emerged from the door we are all staring at minutes ago.

"How's her condition? Is she awake already?" Tanong ni Lindsay sa healer na agad naman syang sinagot.

"Although she hasn't awoken yet, the princess' condition is already stable. All we have to do now is wait for her to wake up." We all sighed in relief because of what the healer said at halos sabay-sabay na pumasok sa loob ng kwarto right after the healer left us to do the rest of her work.

Gaya ng nakagawian ay kanya-kanyang pwesto nanaman sila. Despite of Cashie's current state, I can't help but to smile dahil kahit gaano pa kabusy ang mga kaibigan namin ay napapansin kong nakukumpleto kami lagi kapag may isa saamin ang naoospital o napapahamak. That alone shows how strong our friendship's bond is and I'm really grateful that I became a part of that bond.

Nanatili kami ng ilang oras doon bago tuluyang nagising si Cashiella na pagkain kaagad ang unang hinahap pagkadilat na pagkadilat ng mga mata nya. Kairo being the gentleman boyfriend that he is might have anticipated this happening kaya wala pang limang minuto ay kumakain na si Cashiella.

After kumain ni Cashiella ay tsaka lamang kami nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na magtanong sakanya about sa visions nya before she passed out.

"Honestly, I did not see much from it which is unusual since after I trained, all of my visions were always clear and construct. This one is different tho. It was as if someone had purposely shadowed my eyes para hindi ko makita ng klaro ang vision."
