"You want to talk about it?" Cara asked for the hundredth time in a row even if I denied her every time.

"I didn't think he'd be the same you know?" I finally spoke as I took a sip of the bitter coffee she offered me.

"Ryan?" she asked sitting opposite me on the bed.

"Yes, he seems so perfect that I should've known" I sighed softly.

"I know it's not my place at all, but I don't think you know the whole story-" Cara tried to convince.

"The whole story? I don't want to know how he cheated on his girlfriend, who almost died from the depression taking over her! That's just like a fucking carbon copy of my story" I raised my voice at a very startled Cara.

"I'm going to say it again, you don't know the whole story. I don't know whether you'll forgive him or not that's completely upto you but, you and I both know that Ryan would never do something like that to Elisa on purpose" she replied calmly.

"Then why?" I asked cause I had a feeling she knew.

"It's not my story to tell" she said.

"Zack told you? Was it his story to tell?" I joked.

"No, but Zack doesn't have a stop button on his mouth" she smiled making me chuckle.

"So are you going to talk to him?" she asked hopelessly.

"I'll try" I shrugged cause I knew I had to face it sooner or later.

"Also my mom asked me to invite you to this formal dinner party here at my place tomorrow night" she spoke nonchalantly.

"Your mom is having a dinner party?" I asked unsure.

"She comes from a long line of socialites, parties are kind of their thing. I invited Zack, Ryan and Mark but everyone else is like way older so it's going to be boring just warning you" she rolled her eyes.

"I'd love to come, but when you say formal do you mean long gowns and tiara formal?" I asked.

"Just long gown, you can borrow one of mine" she disregarded it.

"That's so cool, it's like we're in Gossip Girl or something" I laughed finishing my coffee.

"It's boring, not cool" she said standing up.

"Come on! I've always wanted to go to a socialite ball!" I tried to convince her.

"And once you attend you'll wish you never did" she rolled her eyes.
"But it's a good time to clear up your issues with Ryan"

"I guess sooner, the better" I sighed.
"Wait is Zack finally meeting your parents?" I asked surprised.

"I don't want him to meet them, but he wants to so badly. We had this whole fight about it" she sucked in a breath.
