"This is all my fault" Ryan repeated for the millionth time.

"It's literally three in the morning and for the past fifteen minutes all you've said is that" I yawned.

I just got up after yet another surgery a while ago. Turns out I was moving way too much and my punctured lung didn't like that, so it decided to stop working. Classic lung move.

"That's cause it is! You were trying to tell me about how worked up I get over silly things and how my anger takes the better of me but I wasn't listening!" he stated perfectly.

"Couldn't have said it better myself!" I started, "but not the point right now. I'm fine now! I'm not even hooked onto anything anymore! But you're tired and I can literally see your dark circles getting worse, so can we discuss this once you've had some rest?" I asked yawning.

"I'm sorry" he whispered walking up to me and holding my hand.

"Come on in" I smiled as I moved to the left and opened the blanket motioning Ryan to get in.

"No it's fine I'll sleep on the chair" he said looking past me to a wooden chair.

"No! You're sleeping next to me cause I sleep well around you" I said catching his hand and pulling him.

"Fine but you asked for this" he joked before getting in.

Pulling my blanket, my mom got for me from home over ourselves I felt a little more comfortable. Ryan put his hand in my head and started playing with my hair. I leaned in on his chest as I yawned.

"Rave?" Ryan spoke up as I felt his fingers move through my hair.

"Yeah?" I asked looking up.

"I'm tired" he said as I looked at his eyes.

"Then go to sleep" I replied a little confused.

"But what if you need a nurse or you have one of your nightmares?" he asked a little frantically.

"Ryan, I love you for caring so much but I'll be fine. I don't think you've slept at all these past three days and you really need to. I'll be fine, I promise" I kissed his cheek and looked up into his eyes. He looked exhausted and I knew he hadn't slept a wink for the past three days so I cocooned myself closer into his arms as I watched him yawn and close his eyes.

"I love you Stone" he whispered before going silent and pulling me even closer if that was possible.

My eyes closed a few minutes later as I felt at peace in his arms. The next thing I knew I was watching a sunset in dreamland.

I got up at about half past nine, only to find Ryan still fast asleep by my side. His arm was still around my hip and he looked so serene I could've watched him sleep for the rest of the morning.
