Ryan's POV

"Call the ambulance now!" My dad shouted as I ran towards the car.

"I don't even know where she is!" I shouted back as I got into my car. The three women in my house were still in shock when I told them what happened but my dad urged me to move faster.

"Retrace her steps Ryan! Where was she when you called her!?" My dad asked.

"Supermarket! She went to get groceries! I'll meet you at the hoapital" I remembered before backing the car and driving to the closest grocery store.

This is all my fault! If I hadn't called her-

I don't think I've ever driven this fast before, I couldn't lose her. I just couldn't.

I felt it, the second I turned into the corner of an empty neighbourhood I knew she was there and sure enough I saw her overturned car. To say it looked bad would be an understatement. On the other side there was another car that didn't look as bad but the driver was missing.

Running out into the rain I ran towards Raven's car, just hoping she was okay. I opened the car door and I saw her unconscious, her face was full of blood I quickly searched for a pulse as I gave a sigh of relief when I found one.

Carefully pulling her out of the car I carried her bridal style into my car. Laying her on the back seat of my car I saw a tear on her white tshirt with a big blood stain on her stomach, immediately pulling up her tshirt I saw a glass piece.

"Fuck! Raven?" I called hoping she'd wake up and this would just be a really bad dream.

But she didn't, so I quickly ran to the drivers seat, I figured I'd reach faster than the ambulance at this point. I swiftly overcame any traffic and reached the closest hospital.

My dad was standing there outside with a nurse as I pulled up. "Help" I called for the nurse as I got out of my car back for Raven.

Before I knew it there were a handful of nurses helping me place Raven's frail body onto a foldable gurney. They pushed her up a ramp as we all raced to the ER. That's when I realized my vision was blurred because of the tears forming.

"Sorry sir, but you're going to need to stay here" a nurse passed me back as I tried entering the ER with the rest of them.

"But I-" I tried to argue but the door slammed shut on my face before I could say anything.

"It's fine son, she'll be fine. I called her parents and they're on the way. Jackie's going to be here soon" my dad promised as he tapped my back sympathetically.
