"So you can imagine my surprise when I see that you two were doing whatever you'll were doing in the bathroom instead of having a shower like normal people do!" Jackie continues to lecture us as Ryan and I sat on the bed with our heads hanging down.

"What if Amy had entered Huh? How would I explain that to her?" Jackie asked pointing at Amy who was sitting on a chair, with headphones on and staring blankly into the phone screen.

"Mom we're sorry, but you can't expect me to believe that you and dad haven't done anything like this" Ryan opened his big fat mouth as I glared at him for rubbing salt in the wound.

"That is besides the point" she mumbled under her breath as Ryan and I stared at her dumbfounded.
"Plus Raven aren't you supposed to be resting at all times? You could have gotten hurt" she diverted her attention to me.

"I know and I swear I just went for a shower and Ryan was helping! Nothing really happened Mrs.West" I explained.

"Well it didn't look like nothing, I expected more from the two of you. Do I really have to give you the birds and bees talk?" she groaned.

"No please please don't! I don't need you to tell me it's a special kind of hug! You know how embarrassed I was when I found out from the school nurse!" he pleaded as I chuckled.

"Last time you got Elisa pregnant so I expect you to be more careful Ryan" she looked at him hopefully.

It pricked me a little to hear that because even though he wouldn't show it I know that hurt him. He didn't like when anyone brought up his lost baby, honestly no one would but only he and Elisa actually knew how it hurt.

"I know mom" he whispered.

"Ryan, honey I love you. I just don't want to see you break again" she walked up to him and kissed his forehead as I smiled at the two of them.

"You do know I'm going to punish you for this right?" she asked as she moved back.

"Yeah" he sighed.

"I know how much you want to be with Raven right now but I think you should come home. Catch up on your assignments, prepare for the SATs and-" she started.

"Mom no! She needs me-" he tried interrupting her.

"No Jackie's right. You should go home, don't worry I'll call. It's hard to concentrate on my work with you around anyways" I explained.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"I'm going to be back in three days, don't act like its forever" I lightly punched his arm and smiled.

"Fine I'll come back home" he said with finality in his voice.

"Okay I'll help you pack your stuff" she sighed in relief.
