There is this rare tranquillity and peace I find whilst binge watching Riverdale.
Netflix and chill might sound mainstream for most of you but, what could possibly be better than sitting on your bed with your headphones on and a bowl of popcorn infront of you?
"Don't pick up the phone Betty!! And change that stupid ringtone!" I gave my side comments even though I knew she couldn't hear me.
That's when my own phone buzzed, I pulled it out of my pocket only to see Mark calling.
I swiped the green accept button as I paused the episode."Aren't you supposed to be on a plane?" I asked surprised.
"Was on a plane, just arrived actually. Hope I'm not disturbing a class or anything?" he asked innocently.
"No, I skipped school. So not to worry you aren't disturbing anything but my daily Netflix binge watch" I said smiling as I jumped off the bed.
"Ooo skipping class, someone's being a bad girl!" Mark replied as I laughed back.
"So you want me to come to the airport?" I asked.
"No, no just send me the location of the best burger place in Boston and I'll meet you there for lunch?" he asked.
"Sure, I'll see you soon! I can't wait!" I said chuckling hopelessly.
"I'll just settle my stuff in my- Dan! Stop throwing your earphones at me! I swear I'll kill you!" Mark shouted at Daniel who I'm guessing was his older brother that he mentioned a few times.
"Okay fine I'll take you to meet Raven just stop hitting me!" Mark said angrily.
"He can tag along, chill out" I said laughing.
"He just wants to come so he can try the moves on you. He thinks you'll fall in love with his accent" Mark replied and I could literally picture him rolling his eyes.
"Don't worry I'll be fine, you know I'm not stupid to fall for someone just like that, plus I have way too much on my shoulders and I'm not adding boys to that" I said shrugging the concept off.
"Good" he said relieved.
"Okay I'm going to go now, I'll meet you at Tate's diner later?" I asked.
"Send me the location and I'll be there Tiger!" he said chuckling.
"Bye!" I said and hung up.
I quickly texted him the location and continued my binge watching along with side stalking YouTubers.
In about an hour I had finished the bowl of popcorn, I checked my watch only to see I had fifteen minutes to meet Mark and I know how much he hates tardiness.
