"So you're comfortable meeting with her? Are you sure you're okay? Cause honey I don't mind extending the days, I know how hard it's been for you" Jackie asks Ryan once again.
"Mom, honestly I think you're more worried about this dinner than I am. She's coming over because I invited her on your orders" Ryan chuckled as he sat next to me on his bed.
"Honey I know but it's been years since your mom has met your dad and I'm starting to think it might not be the greatest idea for the two of them to be in the same room" she explained running her hand through her hair.
"Mom, are you scared dad will go back to his high school girlfriend?" Ryan asked skeptically.
"No! I did not say that! Why would I think that!?" she spoke quickly.
"You have nothing to worry about, you're always going to be my mom. And dad's always going to love you unconditionally, you made him a better man" Ryan promises her as a smile tweaked on her face.
"I love you Ryan, and I am so proud of you" she said coming up to him and planting a kiss on his forehead.
"I love you too mom" he smiled back as Jackie walked out of the room.
"You're being really mature about this you know that right?" I asked him smiling affectionately.
"That's me, Ryan Mature West" he smirked as he layed down on the bed.
I chuckled as I turned around and gave him a peck on the lips but soon enough we were full on making out.
His hands were slowly moving down my back as mine moved through his hair. I finally pulled away and smiled at him as I felt the blush creep it's way to my cheeks.
"I love you" I smiled and layed down on his chest. That's when I realised what I said, What the hell did I just do!?
"What?" he asked as I sat back up with my back facing him.
I started tensing up as I felt him sit up too and place his hand on my shoulder. "Rave-" he started.
"I'm sorry, I really don't know what I was thinking. I just-I should've thought twice before saying that. I-I should just go" I replied dazed and confused as I picked up my bag since I came here after school.
Walking out of that room I expected him to stop me but I wasn't that lucky. Hastily I made my way down the stairs.
"Raven! Where are you going?" I heard Jackie call out to me.
"I have to go" I simply muttered as I reached for the door and made my way out.
"Won't you come for dinner tonight?" she called out but I didn't reply.
