☪ ; What is an egregor?
Egregor is a concept of occultism that comes to represent a "way of thinking" or "collective group mind", that is, an autonomous psychic entity capable of influencing the thoughts of a group of people.
☪ ;How to create an egregor?
To create an egregor is nessesary just a "ritual". The Rite have to repeat over and over again, it can contain sentences, gestures, representations, etc. The important thing is repetition.
As you will see, it is very easy to create one and anyone can do it. So if the Creepypastas existed they could be Egregores, although I have many more theories about it.
The nature of the egregor is mental, because it groups together certain thoughts that are repeated in the ritual, but it also has an affective force, capable of emotionally moving. So they have feelings just like a normal person. It may be difficult to identify them.

One more reason to affirm that the Creepypastas are Egregores;;
An egregor is created by negative energies emitted by humans both collectively or individually, in the multidimensional being or group of souls. A single multidimensional self or in other words, a person, can create an egregor if he is subjected to great suffering such as torture or a prolonged illness with a lot of pain. In those cases, the lower being releases fragments of energy from his etheric body which unite to form a unified pain energy that resembles an entity without being. He lacks consciousness or the ability to survive for a long time. He will only do so if he finds food in more suffering and pain. The egregors are also recognized as entities with some autonomy but their power is ALWAYS given to them by humans. They do not exist by themselves.
➳ This just read makes me think even more that my theory is correct.
Most people who read Creepypastas have a difficult life (not all) and are loaded with negative thoughts, so it would be very easy to create an Egregor. Maybe we create the Creepypastas ourselves. Also after creating them there is no turning back, they can live for a long time, provided they have suffering to feed (like pain).
that's why I always say if you think you are being harassed by a creepypasta; Think of happy things, because they will not have food (suffering) and will leave.

The information is from a page called Calanizandoluz, credits to those people. Being honest, I had a hard time finding information about the Egregores. In wikipedia there was just the definition.
