Capter 5

Jessica pov.

Sensi said I could stay the night at the lair in case shredder was watching my house. I would have loved to say yes but it was a school night and my dad would never agree to that. "Hmmm I suppose one of my sons could guard your house until midnight and then switch off." Splinter said. That was a perfect idea, this way I could spend time at my home and still be safe. "Ya that'd be great." I say. Splinter decided that raph would take first watch at midnight switch at mikey, at 3 switch to donnie and at 6 leo takes over and watches on the way to school. "Ok let's go." raph says. We make it to my house a little while later. "Ok so you go in and I will be on that roof top. Just yell if ya need somthing." he says. "ok" I say and walk into my house. my dad was sitting on the couch. Thankfully shredder isn't here. "Hi honey how was Aprils house." he asks looking up from the news to me. "it was great." I say. "Well it's late so I'm gonna get some sleep." he says walking to his bedroom. "night" I say. "good night ." he says back. I make my way up the stairs and into my room. I walk in and don't even bother putting on my pajamas. I'm exhausted. I lay down and fall asleep. My alarm wakes me up at five thirty. Ugh I hate school. I get up and get ready. I look out my window and see donnie leaving. I run downstairs and see a note. It's from my dad saying he left early and will be gone until tommorow because of a business trip. I check the time. it's 635. I walk outside and put my bag and stuff in my car. I look over toward the building leo should be on . I don't see him at first but I catch a glimpse of somthing that I recognize as leo. At 7:30 I walk and get into my car. I drive to Aprils house and pick her up. "Ugh why does school have to be so early." she says. I laugh and pull into the school parking lot.
