Chapter 6

Leo pov.

As soon as Jessica is in the school. I head back home. As soon as I walk in Mikey runs up to me. "so leo have fun with your girlfriend." he says. "She's not my girlfriend" I say trying to stop myself from blushing. Raph and donnie are standing in the front room. "Come on leo admit it you like her." raph says. "No I don't." I say. "come on dude yes you do just admit it and tell her." donnie says. That's ironic that he's telling me this since he hasn't told April yet. "Tell April." I say looking at donnie. That makes him shut up. I walk over and sit on the couch look at the tv. The news was on talking about the weather so I flip through the channels until I come to space heroes. I check the time and it's already 3 so I head out to go get Jessica from school.

Jessica pov.

School was boring. I grab my things and walk out of the building. I get into my car and drive home. April said she had to go with Casey so she could Tudor him. I drive home and sat down on the couch. I turn I the news an listen. most of it was boring then I heard somthing about a plane crash. I turn up the volume and listen. 'This is karla Perkins reporting live on the scene of the crash. it is beloved the plane lost control and crashed about 30 minutes ago. No sign of any survivors. More on this story as it develops.' The reporter says as they switch bad to some boring report. Wait a minute. I think as I rewind the tv back to the report. It's weird it doesn't have the plane name on the screen. Just then the phone rings and I answer it. "hello" I say into the phone. "Hello is this Jessica parker." a woman on the other end says. "yes why." I say wishing she would get to the point. "Yes, Jessica your father Derrick Parker has passed in the latest plane crash." she says her voice lacking any sympathy. I felt like I was stabbed in the chest. I threw the phone and layed on the couch. I cried my eyes out for the next two hours. I barley noticed someone entering my home. I looked up and seen leo. "I'm sorry jessica." he says. "How did you know." I ask. he looks at me his eyes full of sympathy unlike the woman on the phone. "They announced names on the news about ten minutes ago." he says. I sit up and pat the spot next to me on the couch. He walks over and sits. "So what now." I ask. "I don't know, you could come live at the lair sensi said you could." he says. I think about for a minute and come to an answer. "sure" I say. "Hey Jessica can I try something." leo says. "what?" I ask. he leans in and kisses me quickly. He pulls away and stands up. "sorry" he says and rushes into the night. I sat there 'what just happened'.
