"Had you forgotten the reason we came all the way here?" Gaara said. "I know. I, I mean, they challenged us. They started the whole thing, really. See here's what happened." Kankuro said frantically. "Shut up." Gaara cut him off. Kankuro groaned "Or I'll kill you." Gaara said glaring at him. "Ah, right. I was totally out of line. I'm- I'm sorry, Gaara. I was totally...out of line" Kankuro said backing up.

Gaara looked at Sasuke "I'm sorry for any trouble he caused." Gaara said. Sasuke looked like he was thinking. Gaara looked at him a little longer and then he randomly turned into sand? The sand turnd into him but on the ground. "Let's go. We didn't come here to play games." Gaara said. "Alright, sure. I get it." Kankuro said scared. Gaara turned back and looked at us. He stopped his eyes on me and we made eye contact. Uh um. I dont know what to do. I smiled at him. He looked confused and shocked but turned back around.

"Hold on! Hey!" Sakura yelled."What?" The girl with them said. "I can tell from your headband that you come from the village hidden in the sand. Of course the land of fire and the land of wind are allies. But no Shinobi can enter another's village without permission. So state your purpose. And it better be good." Sakura said loudly.

"Really. Have you guys all been living under a rock or what? You don't know what's going on, do you? We have permission." The girl said raising her hand and showing her I.D card. "Of course, you're correct. We are hidden Sand Genin. Our home is the land of the wind. And we here for the Chunin Exams. Get the picture?" "The Chunin exams? What's that?" Naruto asked.

"Well, I've never heard of any Chunin exams, believe it." Naruto said. "I believe it, alright, that your totally clueless." The same girl said. "Hey, boss. Those are the exams that every Genin's got to take in order to graduate to be a full-on Chunin." Konohamaru said. "Oh, well why didn't you say so? I am so there!" Naruto yelled. Gaara chuckled a little bit while turning around. Sasuke walked in front of me and said "Hey, you. Identify yourself." The girl turned around and said "hm? You mean me?"

"No, him. The guy with the gord on his back." Sasuke said pointing at Gaara. Gaara turned around and said "My name is Gaara of the desert. I'm curious about you, too. Who are you?" "I am Sasuke Uchiha." The air was cold and mysterious until Naruto yelled "Hi there! I bet you're doing to know my name, right?" "I couldn't care less." Gaara said and they turned around and jumped off. "Hey, Konohamaru. Do I seem uncool or something? Well, compared to your sisters boyfriend, Sasuke, yeah. You're pretty lame." Konohamaru said. I blushed and Naruto yelled "Nah! You're not going to show me up, Sasuke! And (Y/n) is not dating Sasuke!" "Hm. Back off, loser." Sasuke said.

As Naruto continued to talk to Konohamaru I walked over to Sasuke. "Thanks for saving Konohamaru" I said smiling at him. His cheeks were light pink and he said "I knew Naruto wouldn't have been able to" I chuckled a bit and said "One day, I think he'll surpass all of us." I put my head on his shoulder. "That Gaara kid gives me a weird feeling" I mumbled into his shoulder. "Hn"

I leaned back on the railing next to Sasuke, waiting for Kakashi-sensei. Sakura sighed and then randomly screamed. "Why, why, why?! It's always the same! He sets the time and then we have to wait hours for him." "It's not fair!" Naruto joined in. "What about my feelings? I rushed here so fast, I didn't even have time to blow-dry my hair!" Sakura yelled. "And I didn't even have enough time to brush my teeth or change my underwear!" Naruto yelled.

I looked at him with an '..what?' face. "You didn't?" I asked. "That's really disgusting, Naruto." Sakura said. I just leaned my head back more. Sasuke looked annoyed with them. Sasuke and I heard a noise and both looked up. Kakashi-sensei appeared on one of the railings. "Hey. Good morning, everyone. Sorry I'm late. Afraid I got lost on the path of life." Naruto and Sakura screamed "You liar!"
