Chapter 83

Naruto and I were holding the water balloons. The water in it was spinning but it wasn't doing exactly what Pervy sages did. "Any second now! Look, the water's spinning! It's gonna be even easier than I thought to get this balloon to burst!" Naruto yelled. "Good, let me know when you've done it. Meanwhile, I'll just get comfortable. It's time for a little break." Pervy sage took out a drink as he sat against a tree.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?" Naruto shouted "I might as well catch a little shut-eye while I'm waiting. This stuff helps me sleep." Pervy sage started to chug a bottle. "Heh. Don't get too comfortable. This wont take long." Naruto said.  Yeah, yeah, okay. You just let me know when you've figured if out." Pervy sage said. "You wait and see. Ha! I'll have this thing down before you even close your eyes, you lazy old buzzard!" Naruto said and looked back at the balloon. He yelled as he spun the water.

This is harder than we thought. We were breathing heavily as Pervy sages snored were in the background. "Man. This is crazy! What do we have to do?" Naruto yelled randomly cause Pervy Sage and I to jump. "Huh? Well, did you two do it?" Pervy sage asked. Damn it Naruto! You woke him up! Neither of us has done it yet. Naruto and I slightly turned our head towards him "Uhhhh, well, not quite, but we're really close. Almost there!" Naruto said.

"Ahh. I was hoping for maybe 40 winks  but that was more like 840." Pervy sage said rubbing the back of his head. "Come on, how do you do it? How do we get it to burst?" I asked. Pervy sage was trying to get the last drops of his drink. "Like I've said before, you won't know how it's done until you've done it." "Ungh." Pervy sage chuckled "However, in your case, even though ideally you're supposed master this jutsu by yourself through trial and error-" Mmhmm, Mmhmm?" Naruto said nodding. "Maybe I'll give you guys a small hint to point you in the right direction. Alright, now get the water in the ballon spinning again."

"Huh? Okay." Naruto and I grabbed a balloon and started to make the water spin. "To the right or the left? Which direction are you making the water rotate?" Pervy sage asked. "Huh? Well, to the left, I guess." Naruto said. "Left too" I said. "Now walk over here to me." Pervy sage said. We walked over to him and he put his hands on our head. "Hphm. I thought as much." Pervy sage said. We both looked up at him "huh?" "You thought what?" Naruto asked. "The problem is, you two are actually a right rotation type."

"A what?" Naruto and I asked. "Yeah, that's the trouble right there. You guys got you chakra working against itself. A good way to build up chakra in the body is to spin it into a tight spiral, like a spring. Whether the chakra spins to the left or right depends on your individual. Some people are left rotation types, some are right. But if you're spinning the water in the balloon in the opposite direction from your natural rotation type, your chakras just countering itself. Heh. No wonder you guys are having trouble. It's something that most ninja in training eventually figure out for themselves, but in your cases-" "Yeah, okay, but how were you able to tell that we're a right rotating type or whatever it is?" Naruto asked

"By the way your hair grows. If your hair grows to the right, that means your a right rotation type. If it grows to the left, you're a lefty. It's pretty simple, really." Pervy Sage said. I put my hands on my head. "Huh. If I ever brushed my hair, I might have known that." Naruto said. "You get it now? It might help if you two seg the water in the balloon rotating to the right." Pervy sage said. "Man, I never even knew my hair rotated. Forget about which way." Naruto said. "I think you'll  find this is the perfect jutsu for you two. All it requires is chakra. No complicated hand signs to be mastered. With a little effort, even a slower learner can get this one. I know that you can do it." "Hey! Who you calling a slow learner? Are you forgetting I am. I'm the guy who's going to be Hokage someday! I bet you in three days we'll have this whole thing nailed. You won't be smiling then!" Ah! Naruto don't get me tied into your bets!
