Chapter 35

"Ino. Buy why?" Sakura asked. "I'm tired of you showing off in front of Sasuke and trying to get all the credit." Ino said stepping forward. "These Leaf Village worms will be sorry they squirmed their way into something that doesn't concern them." The leader said staring at us deeply. "Are you two crazy? What are we doing here? These guys are bad news, man." Choji yelled. "Don't look at me. It was Ino's idea. But what are we supposed to do? Just sit back and let a girl do all the fighting?" Shikamaru said holding onto Chojis scarf.

"Heheheh sorry for dragging you both into this. But we are a three-man squad, right? All for one and one for all." Ino said. "Yeah. What's meant to happen will." Shikamaru said smirking. "This ain't teamwork. I call this suicide. Let me out of here! Please, let me go!" Choji yelled trying to squirm away. "You're getting on my nerves." Shikamaru said holding him back.

The sound ninja laughed and said "Better a live sheep than a dead lion, right fatso?" Uh oh... "Did I just hear that right? What did that guy just say?" Choji asked very quietly. Shikamaru and I knew what was going to happen so we both looked scared. "You want to try saying that again?" Choji asked calmly. "I said you're smart to get up while you still can, fatty."

I backed up a bit ready for Chojis reaction. Choji violently turned around and yelled "Who are you calling fat?! I'm just a little chubby, okay?!" Choji started yelling angrily. He pointed at the rest of us and yelled "That does it. Now this is personal. It's a fight to the death between Leaf and Sound." I mean, if he's angry he'll put up a good fight, right?

"Good job. Thanks a lot. Now we got to live with him." Shikamaru said. "Dont worry. It won't be for long." The ninja said back to us. I felt this weird strong feeling. I turned my head looking for it. It feels so cold and dark but I don't know where its coming from. "Sakura. (Y/n). Your teammates are down. Look after them." Ino said. Sakura nodded but I wanted to fight. "Dont you think she should help us? I mean, she's fast so that will help somehow" Shikamaru said.

"No, can't you see she has a wound on her leg and she's been bleeding this whole time. Speed is not on her side right now." Ino said staring at my wounds. She has a point though. I backed up next to Sakura and I'll just wait if my help is needed. "Okay, Team Ino lets show who's boss." "Got it." Choji said angrily. "Formation Ino." "Shika" "Cho"

"Take it away, Choji." Ino said. "My pleasure. Expansion Jutsu! Followed by leaf style Taijutsu!" Choji said turning into a big ball and all his limbs going inside of it. "Human boulder Jutsu!" Choji yelled rolling towards the ninja with high speed. "You've got to be kidding. Maybe I'm supposed to laugh myself to death. Sclicing sound wave!" He put up his arms blowing air at Choji, but it didnt effect him. Choji was rolling in place and the guy was grunting as he put in more power. Choji soon went flying straight up in the air and he yelled "It shook the airstream!"

Choji was falling and about to right on top of him. "Eh? Zaku!" The leader yelled running towards his teammate. Shikamaru moved in one swift move with his Shadow Posession Jutsu. He moved his shadow so it would connect with the sound ninjas. The guy stopped in his tracks and looked at Shikamaru confused and frustrated. Choji came falling on the floor but the guy jumped away in time.

The leader put his hands on his head. Shikamaru is being funny I see. "What is it? Why are you standing there like that?" The female ninja asked. "It's some kind of paralysis Jutsu." The leader struggled to say. "Ino, I'll leave the girl to you." Shikamaru said. "Okay. You got it. Just take care of my body while I'm gone." Ino said putting her hands up. "Sure"

"Ninja Art Mind Transfer Jutsu!" Ino's body fell limp and Shikamaru caught her. Choji and the other guy were still going at it. Choji would roll towards him but the guy would jump out of the way. "Enough of this. Kane!" The guy yelled clearly annoyed. "Whats wrong with you?" The leader yelled. The girl stuck a kunai to her neck and said "Party's over, fellas. Take it easy. One false move from either of you, and your teammate here gets it in the neck. You don't want that to happen. So here's what you do. Just drop the scroll and walk away. When you're far enough away that I can't sense your chakras, I'll let her go."
