Chapter 75

"What is this? You come at
me and that's all you've got? All that effort and couldn't even touch me. What a joke!" Gaara yelled and the sand hardened around Sakura. I jumped from where I was and towards Naruto. I stood next to him and I saw him wrapping a paper bomb around a kunai. "I dont know how much damage I can do. But it doesnt matter. I just have to give it my best shot."

"Shadow Clone jutsu!" Naruto made five clones and they were lines up. "Here goes! Get ready for the ultimate secret taijutsu! Naruto Uzumaki Clone Body Slam!" Three clones lined up and Gaara grabbed ahold of them. "Okay. Let's do it!" They all yelled. One clones held onto another above their head and stepped on Gaaras hand. They threw Naruto "Shadow Clone jutsu!" He yelled as getting closer to Gaara. Gaara threw his fist and punched the clone while Naruto jumped back up. "And another! Shadow Clone jutsu!" He made a clone under him and jumped on his back to give him a boost up. "Take this! Leaf Village secret taijutsu! Straight from the teachings of Kakashi-sensei! Thousands years of death!" Naruto stuck the kunai down.. there.

I just looked with a "uh" expression. I see how that can work, but uh, yeah, uh. Gaara slowly turned his head towards Naruto. Gaara swung his tail right into Naruto face. As he was flying back I heard Naruto say a simple word that can cause very much damage "boom."

An explosion happened on Gaaras behind. I noticed a dark figure move past me so I followed it with my eyes and realized it was Sasuke. I was surprised he was able to to move after, well, being basically paralyzed on the tree branch. Sasuke threw himself behind Naruto so he wouldn't hit the tree. "Hey. You okay?" Naruto asked. I quickly jumped over there before the smoke cleared around Gaara. I jumped infront of Naruto and kneeled down. I turned my head to see what was happening with Gaara.

The smoke clears up and some of the side of him melted off. "All of that work and you only scored one blow?" Saauke asked. I turned my head towards them and saw them sitting against the tree. "Ah, put a sock in it." Naruto said turning his head in the other direction.

Gaara slammed his hand on the broken tree. "Naruto. Listen to me. You have to save Sakura if it's the last thing you do. Once you got her, I want you to take her and flee as fast as you can. It's all up to you. (Y/n), stay here and use your speed as an advantage to attack Gaara." Sasuke said. "Sasuke, you-" Naruto said. "We can hold him here a little longer." Sasuke said shakily standing up. "If it ends here, it just means this was as far as I was meant to go. I lost everything once. I dont ever want to have to see that again. My trusted comrades falling right in front of me." Sasuke said

"Your comrades? Sasuke.. I get it now. Of course. He's no different than we are." Naruto looked at me and back at Gaara. "Going through life with the exact same sadness and loneliness that we had to carry. He fought only for himself, never relying on anyone. And because if that I thought he possessed strength. I really did." Naruto clenched his fist. "Naruto." Sasuke said

"I dont know. I guess I should have known better. That's not what real strength is. If you never fight for anyone but yourself, you'll never be strong, no matter what you do." Naruto said. He put his hands together and began to yell. He started to release a massive amount of chakra. "No matter what happens, I swear I'm going to protect you! (Y/n), get over here!" Naruto yelled. "Multi- Shadow Clone jutsu!" Naruto and I yelled. We both made 50+ clones.

Everyone gave a different reaction. "Nice kid. Not too shabby" the frog said. "Gee, I'm sorry. I didnt mean to keep you waiting so long. So get ready for a original jutsu straight from my ninja handbook!" Naruto yelled. Gaara looked around confused "What the? How could they have summoned so many clones?" Gaara asked. I looked over at Sasuke and saw his expression. He looked shocked that we were able to do that. "Way to go there. You're showing a lot of promise." The frog said.
