Chapter 66

Shikamarus shadow unleashed Temari. "Huh, what the?" Temari said looking at Shikamaru. "Uh, man, I'm beat." Shikamaru said touching his shoulder. I closed my eyes and shook my head while smiling. That's Shikamaru. Naruto looked upset "What the heck was that? Forfeiting the match when he had it won! Geez!" Naruto slammed his fists on the railing. "Man, that really ticks me off. That lazy son of a- I'm going to give him a piece of my mind." Naruto yelled and jumped off the railing.

He ran up to Shikamaru "Hey, I want to talk to you, you idiot!" Naruto yelled. Shikamaru continued to stretch "Who are you calling an idiot, idiot." "Why'd you give up? Are you really that lazy? Or, are you just a big chicken?" Naruto yelled. "Hey. It's over. Let's just forget it. Okay?" "Are you kidding? No! It's not okay! You had that match won-" "Would you skip it? Are you forgetting? Your sisters match is next." Shikamaru said with Naruto still yelling. "I mean to right when- huh. Her match?" "And one after that." Shikamaru added. Naruto smirked. "Yeah, that's right!"

Naruto and Shikamaru both came back up to the waiting area. ... AH MY FIGHTS NEXT IF SASUKES NOT HERE. I looked around frantically for Sasuke, but I didn't see him. I sunk down and sulked. "Hey (Y/n), what's wrong?" Naruto asked walking towards me. I looked up at him "I cant find Sasuke so that means my fights probably next." I cried out. Naruto laughed "That's good!" Naruto yelled. "No! Its not Naruto!" I yelled getting up. "Why?" "Cause! I have no-"

"Due to the opponent still absent we must move to another match." The proctor announced. The crowd started to yell angrily. Oh no! They don't want to see my match so why should I even fight! "Maybe I should just let him win. I mean like-" I started but got cut off by a hand on my head "(Y/n). Don't even think about it." Naruto said with a scary face. "(Y/n) Uzumaki and Iwata Togai come down"

"Alright! (Y/n)!" Naruto yelled. Ah man, this is scary. I looked at Iwata and tried to analyze as best as I could. He smirked and jumped down the railing eagerly. Oh geez I can tell what kind of person he is. Fine, energy against energy. I stretched really quickly and turned to Naruto. I squeezed his cheek and smiled "wish me luck!" I turned back around and jumped off the railing. I hit the ground and ran towards the proctor.

"Alright, you two ready?" The proctor asked. I nodded of my head and Iwata said "Of course I am." So this guys a bit cocky like the other guy I fought. "Alright, begin." The proctor said. Iwata got out his kunai quickly and swung it at me. I jumped back quickly in surprise. "You beat my teammate half to death. I'm getting my revenge and doing the same." He said growling at me. "Your teammate was Kyoto?" I asked getting my kunai out. "Yes" "Oh, sorry about that. He just ticked me off when we were fighting." I said getting in my stance. "Sorry wont help!" He yelled running at me.

We stared clincking our kunais together. He tried to kick his leg so I would fall but I jumped up and grabbed his shoulder to push me over him. I went to strike his back but an explosion caused me to roll back. I slid across the floor and slowly sat up. What was that? He was standing there smiling holding a bag of little balls. "You were gone for my fight, correct? Well, explosions are my specialty and I'll for sure blow you up!" He yelled throwing a ball at me. I quickly got up and ran to the right.

He got out a different bag that looked the same and they looked slimy or wet. He chuckled as he put on a glove. He grabbed one of the balls and threw it at me. I tried to dodge it but I stepped right into the hole Naruto made. Woah, that hole helped Shikamaru but not me. The ball hit me and I thought it was going to go off right away, but it didnt. I realized it was sticking to me though. So these are sticky bombs. I jumped out of the hole and the explosion went off. I fell and spit a bit of blood because I bit my tongue.

He started to laugh "You'll never defeat me. I'm too strong" "Yeah, yeah. Whatever just fight" I said running. He got a sticky bomb and waited for 3 seconds. He threw it at me but I ran out of the way. "I see you're quick" He said. "Its one of my specialties" I said smiling and shrugging. "Heh, well are you as quick as this?" He yelled throwing a handful of regular bombs.
