Chapter 94

"Wait, Naruto, don't run!" I shouted as Naruto began to run in the Hokage building. I heard a loud thud and a kid groaning. I sighed "What did I say.." Hey, why dont you watch where you're going?" A kids voice shouted. "Why dont you watch where you're standing?" Naruto asked. I walk around the door way to see Konohamaru and Naruto on the floor "Is that you, Naruto? Oh, (Y/n)?" Konohamaru asked. "What the- Konohamaru, is that you?" Naruto asked. "Hey Konohamaru" I said waving down at him.

He stood up "Long time no see!" Konohamaru shouted. "Yeah! You seen an old lady around here with a nasty temper?" Naruto asked. "Actually, she doesn't look old, but she is." I added walking next to Naruto. "I've seen her alright." Konohamaru said. "Huh?" Naruto and I said. "Where is she?" "Who is she, anyway!" Naruto and Konohamaru shouted in eachothers faces.

"Well, it's a long story. Hm. Gah! I haven't got time to tell you now! I've gotta get up to the infirmary pronto!" Naruto yelled. "You get her and bring her there! I'm going over there right now!" I said putting my hand in Narutos head and pushing him towards the hall. "The infirmary?" Konohamaru asked. "Yeah, she's supposed to be some hot shot medical ninja. Everyone's making such a big deal about her being Hokage. Has she forgotten what she came for?" Naruto shouted walking back and fourth.

"Hokage?" Konohamaru asked. "Yeah, she's the Fifth Hokage. You deaf? Big deal. All I care about is her doing what she promised to do." Naruto said. "I don't believe you." Konohamaru said. "Huh?" Naruto said and we both looked at him. "You're lying, Naruto! It's not true!" Konohamaru yelled running out of the room and down the stairs. "What's wrong with him?" Naruto asked peeking over the door way. "Beats me. Oh! Sasuke! Bye, Naruto!" I yelled running down the stairs. "Get Tsunade! And fast!" I yelled "Will do!" Naruto yelled and I heard him starting to run. I wonder if Sasukes alright..

After I got the room number from the nurse I ran down all the halls. I know I told Naruto not to run earlier but who cares! I've been worrying about Sasuke for more than a week! I slid the door open and practically threw my body in. I was breathing heavily as I saw Sakura sitting next to a sleeping Sasuke. "Ah, uh, I- Is he..alright?" I stuttered out walking over to him. "He's been the same." Sakura said and I stood beside him.

After sitting next to Sakura for awhile I heard heels coming. "May I come in? Tsunade asked. "Uh, who are you?" Sakura asked standing up. Shizune walked in and they both smiled lightly. "Granny.." I said standing and walked over to her. "Sakura! Sakura! You'll never believe it! She's gonna make everything okay again!" Naruto shouted running in. Tsunade walked over to Sasuke and Naruto looked at me. "Don't worry, Sasukes going to be alright now."

Sakura looked over at Tsunade "You must be the one Guy-sensei told me about. Oh, please, if you can save Sasuke-" Sakura said. "Well, I'll see what I can do." Tsunade said. She put her hand over his forehead and the same green light appeared. I looked down and walked over to Naruto. I put my head on his shoulder because I didn't want to watch anymore.

I heard a small grunting and I quickly lifted my head. Sasuke opened his eyes and I widened mine. "Sasuke!" Naruto and I yelled. "Oh, Sasuke." Sakura said. Sasuke sat up and looked at the bed blankly. I was afraid to hug him because I didn't know if he was hurt. "Sasuke!" Sakura yelled and hugged him. "Ah-" I said taken back for a second. "Hey, you're back." Naruto said and seemed like he noticed something. He stared as Sakura cried in Sasukes shoulder.

I had a light smile on my face. I.. dont have the right to feel this way. I was gone training while Sakura stayed with Sasuke. I should.. go. Naruto turned around and looked at me. He grabbed onto my arm and we walked out. Naruto stuck his arm back into the room "Come on. You're not done." Naruto said to Tsunade.

Kakashi sat there with an odd look on his face. "Disgraceful. To be taken out of the game by two low life punks like that. I thought you were supposed to be the best." Tsunade said. "Sorry to disappoint you." Kakashi said. "Okay, that's Kakashi-sensei. Now just one more, and you're all done!" Naruto shouted. Guy came out from hiding behind the curtain "Rock Lee. He's right next door. Next door!" Guy said pointing to the right.

After they all left I stayed with Kakashi for a second. "I'm glad you're okay now, Kakashi-sensei" I said grabbing his hand. "Yeah, but I didnt expect Lady Tsunade to be so.. judging.." Kakashi said sighing. "You should've been there for when we first found her." I said laughing. "I would've thought that you'd be with Sasuke right now considering what I've just been told." Kakashi said. "Oh, uh." I looked down and smiled while rubbing the back of my head. "I was worried about the others too, ya' know?" I said. It was quiet for a second "Oh, Lee! Bye, Kakashi-sensei!" I yelled and ran out of the room.

I was running down the hall when randomly an arm hooked mine and started to drag me off. "Hey! Helloo! Hey!" I yelled trying to be free. "We have to meet Iruka-sensei" Naruto said. "What about Lee?" I asked just accepting the fact of me being dragged. "Tsunade is taking care of him right now!" Naruto yelled and I sighed. I hope Lee gets better.

"Hey there, you two." Iruka-sensei said. "Finally, Iruka-sensei. Where ya been?" "I'm late. Sorry. It's all the preparations for the Fifth Hokage." Iruka said. "Well, okay. Whatever." Naruto said and we went to sit down.

"There you go." The chef said handing Naruto and I our bowls of ramen. "Ah! This was worth waiting for." Naruto said and began to eat. "Naruto?" Iruka asked. "Hm?" "You've come a long way since the time you were just a kid trying to earn one of these." Iruka said moving his headband. "I'll say. I'm glad you noticed. Admit it, arent you glad you gave me this headband? It looks pretty darn good on me, dont you think?" Naruto said messing with his. Iruka chuckled "I wouldn't be so cocky. You've still got a long way to go. Be careful that you dont get a swelled head. I went you to listen carefully. The Leaf Village is up against the wall. We lost the Third Hokage, as well as many of out best Shinobi. Our strength's down to less than half, but even so, we still have to carry through with all the missions we're given." Iruka said.

"Huh? Why do you have to? Turn 'em down if you dont have the manpower." Naruto said. "Use your head, Naruto. If we started turning down missions, it would be the same thing as telling the world that our village is weak. So everyone has to pitch in, even the walking wounded, like Kakashi-sensei." Iruka said. "That's too bad. You're up against it, alright." Naruto said eating more ramen.

"It concerns you too, hot shot. You may asked to carry out missions too and fight to fight battles you're not ready for yet." Iruka said. "I'm ready. But you can't expect me to fight well on an empty stomach." Naruto said drinking the the broth of the ramen. Iruka laughed through gritted teeth. "I guess you haven't changed that much." Iruka said and put his hand on his head. "I know you'll do your best." Iruka said. Naruto smiled and moved his headband. "I'll take another bowl!" Naruto yelled. "Whoa! You're kidding?" Iruka shouted. Heh.
