The crowd was yelling for Sasuke. It was quite nerve-wracking to be honest. All the other fights are over so if he doesnt show up anytime soon he'll be disqualified. The crowd started to boo. I noticed the ninja next to the Hokage appeared down next to the proctor. He whispered something in his ear and jumped off. The proctor looked at his stop watch and looked back up, I wonder what happened?
Naruto started growling to himself. "Man, I swear if he doesn't show, I'll kill him. I swear I'll kill him." Naruto yelled. The crowd got louder and angrier.

Naruto looked up and listened to the crowd. "Man, this crowd'll tear him apart if he doesnt show. And if they dont, I will!" "I wonder what he's doing that is causing him to be so late. Maybe being with Kakashi is a reason, he's always late." I sighed out. The proctor took out his watch again.
Naruto started to pace back and fourth. "What's he thinking? I bet he's planning some big entrance or something. Well, I'm not going to be impressed." "Alright, the time limit has expired. So I'm, officially, calling this match-" a single leaf fell across my face. A loud sound and blowing winds started to twirl around beside us. Between the leaves I can see two guys, one way taller than the other. I felt my chest warm when I saw a familiar face. Everyone had their mouths open with their eyes wide, but I was smiling. Sasuke and Kakashi were finally here.
"Sorry, we're late. You wouldn't believe the traffic." Kakashi said. "And you are?" The proctor asked even with the obvious answer. He looked up at him "I'm Sasuke Uchiha." The crowd went wild.
"Sasuke..!" I said happily. "Hah. So you decided to show up after all. I was betting your wouldn't come cause, sooner or later, you'd have to face me." Naruto said. "So what about you two? Did you win?" Sasuke asked. "You know it!" "Of course!" Naruto and I both yelled happily. He looked at me and gave me a small smile. He looked over at Naruto "Well, don't get too full of yourself. You're still a loser." Sasuke said to Naruto. I giggled a bit looking at them. "Sorry if we kept you waiting, but, um, how late are we? I mean, it's not like Sasuke is, well, disqualified or anything, right?" Kakashi asked rubbing the back of his head.
We all turned our head towards the proctor. "Like master, like pupil, even down to your lousy sense of time." He said. "Well, what about it?" Kakashi asked. "You know, you were so late that we extended the deadline for you, twice in fact. And it's lucky for you we did because you just made it. No, he's not disqualified."
"Oh, that's a relief! You had me worried there for a minute. So we're okay." Kakashi said looking over at Sasuke. He noticed that Sasuke was staring at something and followed his eyes to Gaara. "Just make sure you don't lose to this guy." Naruto said. "Got it." Sasuke said still staring at him still. Naruto turned to Saskue and randomly yelled "Hey Sasuke!" I jumped at the sudden shouting and looked over at them. Sasuke moved his eyes towards Naruto. "Don't lose cause I want to fight you myself." "Got it."
I have to admit that I'm excited for this fight but also worried. Sasuke was gone training like Naruto and I so I'll believe that Kakashi made him even more stronger. I looked over at Sasuke and just scanned him. He looks a little different like his hair is longer. He looked towards me and I jumped when we made eye contact.
"Alright, Gaara come down here." The proctor said. "Come on, you two. They don't need us here." Shikamaru said beginning to walk off. "Oh, um.." Naruto looked over at Sasuke. "Let's go. I'm going to take the stairs this time if you don't mind." Shikamaru said. I laughed remembering what happened. Naruto and I began to walk. I looked at Sasuke from the corner of my eye "Come on, are you still upset that I gave you a lite push! You ought to be grateful." Naruto said.
We began to walk up the stairs while Naruto and Shikamaru were arguing with each other. "Would you hurry up? Come on." Natuto said. "Relax Naruto. You're going to give yourself an ulcer." Shikamaru said. Naruto and I both looked over the stairs we were walking on. We had our heads turned staring at something odd. "What is it? Shikamaru asked looking with us. There were two guys on the side of the hallway and a walking Gaara.
The two guys stood in the middle of the hallway to block his path. "You punk kids think this tournament is about you, but it's really about the people who bet on you, or against you in your case. You see, our master's got a lot of money on the other guy to win." One of the guys said. "Got it. That means you got to lose." The other one said.
No one was saying or moving anything. "Well, what's it going to be kid?" One guy asked. I noticed the plug of Gaara gourd was shaking as if it was going to pop off. "Maybe he's too scared to talk." The other guy said. I really doubt that's the reason. Gaara smirked and raised his head. He opened his eyes to show a scary look on his face.
One of the guys reached into his vest and grabbed a kunai. The plug on his gourd popped off and sand violently flowed out of it. They were shocked and all the lights above them broke. Gaara started to breath heavily. He grabbed one of the guys and squeezed him to death. The sand started to go to the other guy so he started to run. It caught his legs and tripped him. It was right in front of us too. We were shocked to see this guy try to crawl to us. He was screaming as he slowly got dragged. "No! Please no! No!" He screamed as he got farther away. We heard one final loud scream.
We just stared in shock at what we just saw. We heard footsteps coming at us from the dark. It was Gaara. We couldn't even move. He walked past the railing and behind us. He was above the stairs behind us, watching us. We didnt even dare to move or even blink. He slowly walked down the stairs and between Naruto and Shikamaru.
After he walked completely down and out of the stairs we sighed and sat on the steps "If we'd have come up the stairs even a second earlier, that could have been us just now. I have never in my life seen anyone kill like that without even batting an eye. Things don't look so good for your friend at all." Shikamaru said. Sasuke..
