"Alright, listen up. Here's the 10th and final question." Ibiki said randomly, kind of startling me. So, we're coming towards the end. Let's hope it isn't hard. "But before I give you the question, there are some more rules that you need to be aware of." Kankuro then walked in. "Ah, made it just in time. I hope you found your trip to the bathroom enlightening. Well, take your seat." Ibiki said. Kankuro then started walking down the walk way and sat down. Hmm. I could have swore he gave something to the girl. "These rules are unique to question 10. Listen carefully and try not to let them frighten you."

"Very well then. Rule number one. Each of you is free to choose not to be given the final question. It's your decision" wait what? There has to be a catch to it. "Whoa. So what's the catch? Let's say we decide we don't want to do it. What happens then?" The girl from a few days ago asksd. "If you choose not to take the 10th question, regardless of your answers to the other nine, you'll get a zero. In other words, you fail. And that means, of course, both your teammates fail as well." Ibiki said and panicked whispered could be heard throughout he room.

"Not so fast. You didn't let me finish. If you do accept the question but answer it incorrectly, you will not only fail, you will be banned from taking the Chunin exam ever again!" Ibiki yelled. What! "Hey, that's bull, man! That's ridiculous. What kind of bogus rule is that? Theres lots of people here who've taken the test before." Kiba yelled. Ibiki then started laughing "I guess you're just unlucky. I wasn't making the rules before, but I am now. Of course, if you don't take it, you don't have to. If you're not feeling confident, then by all means, skip it. You can come back and try again next year." Ibiki laughed some more.

Wow, thanks. So if any one of us chooses to skip it, then all three of us fail. Forget it. Why couldn't they just give us a normal test? "Now then, if you're ready. The 10th and final question. Those who don't want to take it, raise your hand. Your number will be recorded and then you're free to go." Ibiki said. Aw man. What could the question be?

"I'm out." I heard somewhere near Naruto directions. I turned my head and saw the person by Naruto rose his hand. "That's it. I'm out. I just cant do it. I'm sorry" he said standing up. "Number 50. Fail! Number 130. Number 110. That mean you're out too." "Gennai, Inaho, I'm sorry guys." The guy said. Two other guys stood up. "That's it. I quit." "Me too, sir. I'm out." "I'm out" "me too" all these other voices said while raising their hands.

I looked over at Naruto. I know you're probably having a hard time in your head but if you want to raise your hand, go ahead. I know you wont and I know you dont want to. All of a sudden Naruto rose his hand. Wait.. what? He must have something else in mind. All of a sudden, Naruto slammed his hand on the table and yelled "Don't underestimate me! I dont quit and I dont run. You can act tough all you want. You guys aren't going to scare me off. No way! I don't care if I do get stuck as Genin for the rest of my life! I'll be Hokage someday!"

"This decision is one that could change your life. If for any reason you would rather quit, now's your last chance." Ibiki said. "No way. I never go back on my word. That's the way of the ninja." Ibiki looked around as the sentinels nodded. "Well, then, I admire your determination, if nothing else. For those of you remaining there's only one thing left to do. And that's for me to tell you...that you've all passed the first exam." Huh?
What do you mean we passed?
"Hold on. What just happened? Wheres the 10th question?" Sakura yelled.

Ibiki started laughing saying "There never was one. Not a written one, at least. Actually your decision to stay was the answer to the 10th question." "Wait a second. So the other nine questions you gave us were just a waste of time. Is that what your saying?" The girl from earlier yelled. "No, no, not at all. Quite the opposite. The first nine questions had an important overriding purpose- to test your ability to surreptitiously gather strategic intelligence under the most adverse circumstances." So I was right. "Oh, well that clears up everything." The girl that yelled said.
