[EDITED]

"I'm sorry." he said, frowning.
"Don't say that. You're doing what you love. I'm so proud of you." I said walking over to him, smiling.
"But I'm leaving you."
"You'll be home in a few months."
"Four months is a long time though."

"I know, but it will pass by quickly."
"No, it won't."
"Yes, it will. You'll still be able to call and we can talk whenever you're free."
"But what if you forget what I look like? Or what if you don't love me anymore?"
"Bubby, don't say that." I said, hugging his tall figure.

"Are you sure you can't go?"
"I'm sorry, Ruel. My parents won't let me."
"When I get back, we are going to get pizza rolls, right?"
"Of course. I'll even buy you the ones with pepperoni." I smiled.
"Wow, you won't care that I'm wasting the meat?"
"Nope." I laughed.

"Ruel, we're gonna be leaving after I finish talking to y/n's mom!" Coco called from upstairs.
I hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry."
"Ruel, stop. You're gonna make me cry." I said, burying my face into his chest.

The room was silent.
"I don't want to make you cry."
"I know you don't."
"I love you."
"I love you more." I said.
"Will you promise that you'll wait for me?"
"I wouldn't wait for anyone else."

I felt him kiss the top of my head.

"I'm gonna miss you so much."
"I'm gonna miss you so much too, but I'll be right here when you come back."

"Ruel, are you ready?" Coco asked, coming downstairs.

He looked at me and kissed me. This was gonna be our last kiss for four months.

When he pulled away, I engulfed him into a hug.

"I love you."
"I love you too."

He looked at Coco and said, "I'm ready."
"Cmon kiddo." she said. "I'll meet you outside, okay?"

He nodded, and smiled at me one last time before leaving my house.

"Come here." she said to me, her arms wide open.

I hugged her and said, "I'll miss you too."
"I'll miss you yoo, bud,, but I'll keep you updated on that freak."
I chuckled.

"I'll make sure he calls often, okay?"
"You're the best." I smiled.
"I tried to convince your mom, but geez, she won't budge."
I chuckled.
"Okay, I'll make sure to call you when we get there. Bye, y/n."
"Bye, Coco." I smiled.

When they left, I took a deep breath.

It's only four months, y/n. Four months.
