Okay so since everyone wanted a part 2 (btw thank you sm I'm so glad you guys liked the last part), this is part two!

I laid awake under the night sky, as I heard Ruel slowly drift to sleep. I could hear his breathing even out and I didn't want to let go of his hand. As much as I loved this feeling, I knew he didn't mean much by this simple gesture.

I held onto his hand, knowing that I never would be able to do this again if he got a girlfriend.

I wish I was that person.

I thought about how lucky his future girlfriend would be. She would be able to hold his hand whenever she wanted to and he would always be there for her.

I felt him move a bit, but he still held onto my hand.

A part of me wanted him to let go, yet another part of me wanted to stay here with him forever.

"Y/n?" I heard him whisper.
"Yeah?" I said, looking at the sky.

"I'm sorry."
"What?" I looked over at him.

"I'm sorry I'm so confusing."
"What do you mean?"

"I-is this something friends do?"
"We always have sleep overs."
"No, I mean, I'm holding your hand and I don't want to let go."

I could feel my breathing pick up.

"Really?"
He nodded.
"I don't want to either." I said, holding his hand tighter.

"Do you like me?" he asked. His voice became shaky and he looked as if he would cry.

"I do. Do you like me?"
"I-I don't know."

I let go of his hand and sat up.

"No, please don't let go." he grabbed my hand.
"R-Ruel."

"Wait, I'm sorry," he said, holding both my hands. "I know this is confusing. I'm confused too. I just don't want to lose you."

"Ruel, I don't want to lose you either, but I-I hate this. I've always had a crush on you but I never thought this would be happening. What about Bella?"

He let go of my hands and looked down at his lap.

"I-I don't know."
"Ruel."
"I'm sorry. I don't know."

"Maybe I should just go." I said, starting to get up.
"Please don't leave me." he gently pulled me onto his lap.
"Ruel-"

"Just stay with me tonight." he pleaded.
"O-okay."
He smiled slightly and said, "let's go inside cause I don't want to fall off the roof when sleeping."
I chuckled.

I stood up and grabbed the pillow and blanket he gave me, carefully climbing into his room through the window.

"Careful." I whispered to him as I grabbed his hand, helping him climb into his room.

I sat on his bed as he went over to his desk.

"Okay, so I wrote this for you a while ago but I never knew when to give it to you," he said quickly, handing me an envelope, "don't open it now."
I nodded, stuffing it into my bag by his bed.

"What is it?"
"Just a little something for you." he said, quietly.
"Okay."

He laid down on his bed and pulled me close to him.

I cuddled into him as he played with my hair. I felt warm and relaxed and soon I couldn't stay awake.

The last thing I heard Ruel say before falling asleep was,  "I like you a lot and I'm sorry I'm messing with your head."
