I watched as she stood up quickly and began walking out of our house. I quickly stood up and followed behind her.

"If you leave right now, don't come back."

She paused, slowly turning around.

"W-what?"
"I said if you leave on us right now, don't come back. We'll be done."
"Ruel-"

"No, this isn't fair for me! I'm not going to wait for you."
"Fine. If that's how you want it."
"It's not how I want it, y/n. You're leaving me again. This isn't the first time."

"Okay, but sometimes I need a break."
"From us? I don't want us to go on breaks over and over again. I'm tired of this."

"Don't you love me?" she asked.
"Of course I love you. That's why I waited for you, but this relationship has come to a point where I need to put me first. You're constantly leaving and expect me to wait for you. You got upset cause I was on a date when you were the one that wanted us to breakup!"
"I didn't say we were breaking up! I just said we needed a break."

"You're so selfish, y/n. You know that right? How would you feel if I just left out of no where?"
"That's the thing-you wouldn't ever leave."
"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Ruel, can't you see? You're always saying you don't want me to leave but when I do, you get with someone, but then come back to me."
"Y/n, are you serious?" I asked in disbelief at what she was saying.

"It's all true-"
"I only come back to you because you come back to me!"
"Do you want me to come back?"
"I don't want you to leave in the first place." I said.

"But I need a break."
"So then break up with me so I don't need to worry about you!"
"Fine, then I won't come back!"

I stared at her.

"Then I guess this is it."
"You're leaving?" I asked.
"Yes. We did say no promises at the start of our relationship, didn't we?"
I nodded.

"Goodbye, Ruel."
