"Leave me alone." I groaned, pulling the blanket over my head.

"Wake up, it's really nice out."
"I'm good."

"Y/n, I made us breakfast already."
"But it's only 7."

I pushed the blankets off my head.

"What?"
"It's 1:36."

"I swear it was just 7."
"Y/n, come on."
"Fine."

I got out of bed and Ruel told me that after we eat, he wants me to come with him to meet up with some friends.

"Did you make this?" I ask, putting some scrambled eggs in my mouth.
"Mhm. What do you think?"
"It's really really good!"

"You promise you're not lying?" he chuckled.
"Promise." I smiled, eating more.

"Ruel, who are you meeting up with?"
"Some old friends."
"Are you sure you want me to come?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I want you to come?"

"I don't know." I shrugged.
"You don't want to go?" he frowned.
"Not really."
"Why not?"

"Last time I met your friends they all hated me."
"They didn't hate you. And these are different people we're gonna meet. It's just a small gathering."

I ignored him and put a piece of bacon in my mouth.

"Baby, don't ignore me," he said, putting his hand on mine. "I promise you'll like them."
"Okay."

He sighed and stood up.

"Where are you going?"
"I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick. I'll be right back."
I nodded.

When he left, I grabbed my dish and put it in the dishwasher, no longer feeling hungry.

I grabbed my phone and went upstairs.

"Woah, baby, are you okay?" he asked when I accidentally ran into him.

"I'm going to change. When are you going?"
He sighed. "In fifteen minutes."
"Okay, I'll be down in a bit." I smiled, kissing his cheek.

I quickly changed into something comfortable and went down stairs.

"Ready?" he asked, putting his dishes away.
I nodded.

He smiled and held my hand as we walked out, locking the door.

"How far is their house?"
"Half an hour."

"Can I put some music on?"
He nodded.

I grabbed the aux cord and plugged it into my phone.
Once Ruel heard the guitar riff, he smiled.

"Heyyyy! Heyyyyy! Heyyyyyyy! Heyyyy!" he screamed.
I laughed at him.

"Simmer down! Simmer down! They say we're too young now to amount to anything else!" we screamed.

I listened to Ruel singing the rest of the song.

"I love your voice so so much."
"Awe, thanks, bub." he smiled, holding my hand.

"Did you hear my new song?"
"No, cause you wouldn't let me listen to it yet." I laughed.

"Oh, right! Search up Down for You. It was a collab with Cosmos Midnight."
I nodded, typing it into YouTube.

"Oo, I like the beat." I smiled.
"Just wait."

When I heard his voice, I screamed a bit and dropped my phone.
