"Hey, I really need to talk to you. Call me back when you get this." I said, frustrated, throwing my phone onto my bed.

"Wow, how many times have you called him?"

"I tried calling him once everyday for the past week. So he's either mad at me for some reason, or he's just really really really busy."
"You don't think he's avoiding you for some reason?"
"Why would he be avoiding me?"

"You didn't do anything, so there's literally no reason he should be ignoring you."
"I don't know, maybe I said something?"

"You don't think he ch-"
"Of course not. Ruel is not like that."
"Yeah, but y/n-"
"Stop." I said, covering my ears.

As if on cue, my phone began ringing. Ella picked it up and showed me the screen.

I quickly grabbed it and answered.

"Hey."
"Hi." I tired voice said.

"How have you been?"
"Okay, you?"
"Okay."

"Sorry I haven't been calling much."
I bit my lip.

"Ruel, is everything okay?"
"Yeah, wh-"
"Cause it doesn't feel okay."

"What's wrong?"
"I-I thought I could do it. I really did, but Ruel-"
"Y-you're breaking up with me?"

"What no! Ruel, I love you so much."
"So what now?"

"I don't know."

"I'll be home in a few weeks."

I sat down next to Ella.

"Y/n?"
"Yeah?"
"Is something else bothering you?"
I didn't say anything.

"Y/n?"
"I don't know, I just miss you a lot."
"There's more, what's wrong?"

"Ruel, don't take this the wrong way, but sometimes I feel like you don't really want to be with me anymore. I mean, I know you're busy, but I still see your tweets on Twitter, so why haven't you called me back earlier?"
"Baby, I love you with every ounce of my being. It's just that everytime I listen to your voicemail I miss home and you even more. I'm sorry, it's stupid, but hearing your voice makes me so happy, yet I feel so sad. But I'mgonna be home soon. So can you hold out for a few more weeks?"
"Of course. I'll wait as long as it takes to see you, but I just miss you."

"I miss you too. I have to go, but I'll call you later, okay?"
"Okay. I love you."
"Bye, baby, I love you too."
