Zayn's POV
Lights.
Blue and red lights is all I see, and I know exactly why they are there.
I had been looking for Harry for about 20 minutes now. It took forever to get the damn truck to crank up. Harry took my car so I had to get the old truck to crank up, in which I haven't drove in a long time now.
When I rounded the curb I saw all the commotion up the road, and right then I knew Harry lost it.
And I wasn't there to stop him.
To say I am scared when I get there would be an understatement. I see police cars, an ambulance, and what scared me the most was the fire truck. I don't see Harry'... or my car anywhere as I drive up to the scene.
I pull over and jump out, immediately getting wet from the rain. It slacked off a little, but it still is pouring down pretty good. I run up there and I feel my insides turn as I take in the scene down the hill on the side of the road.
My car was against a tree, smashed up pretty good. It is obvious it rolled once, possibly twice during the crash. I don't know if it can be fixed or not, but at this point all I am worried about is my cousin.
I start to run down the hill when I am held back by an officer. I see the rescue team down by the car, but I can't tell what is going on due to the rain.
I am just grateful it's not night time.
"Sir you can't go down there."
"He's my cousin! He's family! Is he okay?" I find myself half yelling at the man.
"The door is jammed shut; they are trying to get him out." The officer says calmly.
How in the hell can you be calm in a situation like this?!
"Please wait over there until further notice."
I go to protest, but I know it won't do any good. I need to inform Liam and Louis about what is going on anyways. I'm just going to have to hope for the best.
I go back to the truck and get in out the rain. I can no longer see my car or the whole ambulance clearly. Maybe that's a good thing. I take out my phone and dial Liam's number.
"Hello?" He sounds like he just woke up from a nap.
"Liam? It's Zayn."
"I know who you are mate." Liam replies with a chuckle. I hesitate before I speak again. I am not in the mood for jokes right now. Liam must sense my hesitation because his tone turns worried.
"Zayn? Everything okay man?"
"It's Harry." I reply. I feel my voice crack slightly.
"Oh my god, is he ok? What did he do? This is about Avery isn't it?" Liam says in a rush.
"He went off on a rage Liam, I set him off, I didn't mean to, I didn't realize he was so bad off when he got home." I try to explain.
"Zayn... Zayn, calm down. What... is wrong... with... Harry?"
"He wrecked my car. I don't know if he is okay or not, they are having to help him out."
"Where are you Zayn?"
I look around and realize we are on the old highway that the old gas station where we use to hang out is at.
"The old Highway." I reply, knowing Liam would know exactly what I mean.
"I'm on my way." And then he hangs up.
I look and realize they are getting a stretcher out the back of the ambulance and taking it down the hill where my car lies. I take a deep breath and call Louis next.
