Mike I was really nervous for today since Eleven was going on her first ever plane ride too Spain for her and Hoppers summer vacation,I of course begged my mom to let me go but she ended up grounding me because of it.
It was now a week after being grounded and Eleven was getting on the plane really soon, I stood at the gate waiting for her to get back from the bathroom,soon I saw her jogging down towards me with her bag on her back. She stopped in front of me and hugged me silently crying. "I'll miss you Mike..." I chuckled and let out a silent sob, "I love you Eleven.." she smiled and hugged me tighter. I just was starting to notice Elevens cries and put my finger under her chin to make her look at me. Lately eleven has been acting weird and I was definitely not going to let her stay that way,I've been trying to do everything with her to make her happy but she seems to be feeling down.
Almost as if she was hiding something.. but I'm sure I shouldn't be worrying since I promised her that friends don't lie,and I trust her to tell me the truth.
El POV
I was currently in the bathroom stall crying to myself silently since I'd have to leave Mike. As soon as he left my cabin a while ago after the vision I had told my dad about everything since I couldn't keep a secret, he comforted me and we soon came to the realization that we had to get answers, so we flew out to Spain to meet up with some Lab workers that dads friend had suggested we go to, he was familiar with the situation since he had been a huge part of my recovery and getting used to my powers, papa had always kept me in the dark but he had been the only one who knew me to show me the light.
Luckily now I have all these amazing people in my life which I have been lying too. I can't stand it, but dad says that if they knew they'd want to come too, and it would only cause more attention towards us if we went with a big group. I stood up from the corner I was crying in and went to the mirror to try and relax my self. I stopped crying and went back out to say goodbye to Mike. I hated lying to him so much but I didn't want him to get hurt if he found out I had hidden this from him for so long.
After I had said my goodbye to Mike I got on the plane on seat 6, I was really nervous as well since it was my first time. But dad was holding my hand the whole time. I looked out the windows to see myself flying away from Hawkins, flying away from Mike. I had put my head back on the seat and sighed getting ready for the long 3 hours of the plane.
