That was all he needed to transport them all to the yard of Gregory's Michigan mansion. He knew the counselor, though not well. Having created the species, he held certain authority in their government. He regretted how rarely he stepped in now that he knew someone so high up had done this.
There would be hell to pay.
He strode up the front deck, which was populated by only a sleeping female vampire.
"Azazel." He said.
The dragon came up beside him as the vampire slowly blinked awake. His hands shifted into scaled claws. The woman's eyes went wide half a second before her head was separated from her body.
The group tore through the house. No one was safe. There were no rules. Not with what was at stake.
Kasimier froze nearly every soul in utter terror. Some turned on others. Some ran. Three peed themselves.
Samuel burst into flame and emerged a gold and red phoenix. He tore vampires apart with talon and beak.
Dragons bit and tore clean through bodies.
Saul defended his unresponsive friend, though not many were foolish enough to come at them. Most wanted to flee.
Down in the basement, the human pets heard the commotion. There were screams and roars. Crashing and thuds.
The building shook. Something shattered.
Dark liquid pooled on the ceiling and dripped down.
"Wendy." Melody croaked and reached for her with her chained hands. "Get behind me."
"What's happening?" She asked worriedly, but did as she was told. She quite liked Melody, now that she wasn't sealing her death sentence.
The two vampires stationed to guard her stood and watched the door in anticipation.
The door burst open, hitting the wall so hard it cracked. It didn't bounce back like it should have, telling Melody it was magic.
In strode Lucifer in a blood speckled grey suit. It was like a thin mist of red had settled all over him.
And the three naked people who followed him in.
The naked woman stepped forward and quickly disconnected the head from the vampires guarding Melody. The three circled the room, studying each human cowering away. Though there were no set rules, none of them deemed the pets dangerous.
In came Kasimier and he instantly locked on to the overwhelming fear coming from Melody. It was no easy task considering just being in the room with so much fear had him light headed.
He stepped aside, just glad she was alive.
Samuel came in and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her white hair.
Then she saw Douglas. He looked lost and confused.
"No. No. No." Her hands went into her hair, her chains rattling loudly in the silent room.
She didn't want him there. She didn't want him to see her like this or know how she'd been tainted. She wanted him back where he was before, in good memories. Not here in hell.
Alex heard her muttering and his every cell focused in on her. She was alive. She was tiny. She was all bones.
The clothes she wore were the same he'd left her in. That same band t shirt and those same pants. His pants. Blood and dirt covered every inch of her.
He rushed to her and dropped down on a knee.
She screamed and scrambled back into Wendy, who instantly held on to her and threw a hand up as if it could stop Douglas.
