Chapter Eighteen

The weekend rolled on too fast for anyones liking.During my free time, I was with either Kane and his siblings, Karina or by myself. I still treated my parents and siblings with the silent treatment.

As I wake up, I hurry up and do my morning routine quickly in order to prevent any encounter with my family.I put on a black trousers and a black top, black hood and black converse. As per my usual colour.Dont get me wrong I like black.

As I head downstairs, am surprised to find the whole of my family in the sitting room. All sited .

"Young woman, you finally decided to join us. "my dad says as soon as he sees me. "You can have a seat, we are eating breakfast as a family today. "I only nod as I take a seat next to Karina.

"So today, we are asking if you could ride with both. Your sister and the boys. "

"Excuse me, everyone has a car so everyone can drive themselves to school. "I tell him looking down at my food.

"You will do as I say. "He pauses ,"and on second thought I think no one is taking their car. Kate drive them to school. It's final. "He says.

I grit my teeth as I prevent myself to shout at him. That's when my appetite is over. I take my plate to the sink as I head out.

"Where do you think you are going without the others.? "Dad asks with a serious expression.

"I'm walking to school. We cannot fit at Kate's car all of us. "I say as I get to the door.

I'm shoved back and I hit my head on the floor.

"What do you think you are doing going against me? "He asks grabbing my hair. Ouch it hurts. "Let me tell you a what has been bothering me. What I wanted to say. "

"Dad please stop you are hurting her. "Koll stands up as he tells dad with clenched fits. I'm surprised today someone stood up for me. I see everyone's expression on the table which shooks me all of them look sad.

"Get out.! "He growls at me. I'm surprised he listened to Koll

I hurry out wiping my tears as I straighten my hair. As I do so, I come face to a chest.

"Princess,you are crying again. "I just know who he is. I let go of his hand as I hurry past him.

Someone holds me on my waist as I try to run.

"Stop crying princess. You know my hear breaks when you cry. "Kane says with a sad tone.

"Okay,,, "I tell him wiping my tears. I prevent myself from looking at his eyes. As I look around, I notice that his car is in his parking lot with Danielle and Sophie staring at us.

"Will you ride with us today.? "he asks politely. I look around I notice Kate ,Karina and the boys at the door staring at me. Karina is crying while Nathan tries to calm her down.

"Okay I will let's go. "I tell him while heading to his car. I take the passengers seat as he gets in. I only wave at Danielle and Sophie who both have a worried look.

"What's wrong with your face, you have a cut near your chin.? "Sophie asks as she seems concerned.

"My  Father happened. "I tell her not elaborating anything. With that I use my phone as a mirror and wipe of blood. I see Kane clenching and unclenching his fists. "I'm okay. "I tell him.

"You know it's okay not to be okay. I'm always here for you. "He says reassuring me. I hear my phone buzzing. I see it's a text from Karina which helps me.

They are all leaving today apart from Kim and Koll. They insisted on staying. I'm sorry. 😥😘

I quickly reply telling her it's okay.

"They are leaving .I will be happy once again. "I say loudly.

"Who are leaving? " Danielle asks.

"My family. "

I see the three of their mouths agape.

"You know you can now close your mouths. "I try and joke around only to see all of them smiling. I chuckle as I stare at them.
