CHapter 15 Family Feud

Our 10 days together were absolutely amazing! We went to Epcot center, Sea world and Walt Disney World and had the time of our lives. A couple days into our vacation we went and saw my mother--big, EPIC mistake!!

When I called her to tell her a friend and I were in town, she was ecstatic and insisted we come see her. We arrived at my mom's beachfront house around noon.

"I'm nervous" Jon admitted as we walked up the sidewalk. "what's to be nervous about?" I said "its not as though you are asking her if you can marry me." he blushed horribly "it's a little too soon in our relationship for that yet" he chuckled. we both laughed ,but, inside I was a little nervous too as I rang the bell.

"Christina!!!" she exclaimed hugging me- "it is so great to see you honey." "How's that adorable granddaughter of mine?" she added.

"getting big" I chuckled. As she grew silent seeing Jon standing next to me.

"that's not Jake" she said "where's Jake??" We all went and sat down in the living room.

"Jake wasn't the nice guy you thought he was- he was an abusive controlling jerk!" I told her. "when Emma was barely 2 weeks old he put me in the hospital for several days after shoving me over and down the stairs while I was holding Emma."

"That was the final straw" I told her --"I pressed charges and he's serving time right now.

"How dare you!! She chided me "Jake has always treated you like gold, and this is how you repay him?! --by making up lies to get him out of the way so you can whore around with a womanizing skirt chaser that you dumped in high school!"

"that was the smartest move you ever made when you dumped him" she added.

Jon and I sat there just totally stunned as she continued to spout off. "and just what are you going to tell Emma when she asks about where her daddy Jake is?---should have thought of that before you lied and got him in trouble." she spat angrily.

I took a deep breath and said, "mom, Jake isn't Emma's father---Jon is."

"Christina Renee!! How dare you lie to your mother!!!!-this skirt chaser wasn't even in the picture when you found out you were pregnant- you were with Jake at the time, Jake is her father.

"mom, I said "jake is medically unable to father children-- A DNA test proved that , and that Jon is Emma's biological father." now it was her turn to be stunned.

"so, what you are telling me she said, is that you, my sweet little Christina , are a noting more than a cheap slut....a whore?? And you were cheating on poor Jake ?"

"Christina is not a slut or a whore!" Jon said somewhat sternly. "she is a beautiful young woman, and I would appreciate it if you don't talk to the mother of my daughter that way."

"Jake is the biggest asshole on the planet and she didn't deserve to be treated the way he treated her--he finally got what was coming to him." he added.

"What would possess you to cheat on Jake with this skirt chaser?" my mom asked.

"MOM! "ENOUGH!!!!!!! I said loudly "HE HAS A NAME!!! "Jon makes me feel pretty, and like I am someone special whenever I am with him--he is a really sweet, loving, caring guy and a wonderful father."

I was so angry, I was shaking and Jon wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head. "shhh, its ok he said softly.

My mom continued to glare at me and look at Jon like he was a bug she wanted to squash --before she could open her mouth again I said, " If you cannot accept the fact that I want to be with the father of my daughter because he cares for me and treats me with the respect I deserve and he loves our daughter with every breath in his body and not with some pathetic abusive sorry excuse for a man, then we are leaving and no longer want anything to do with you."

"and with an attitude like that, you don't need to be around Emma and won't be until you can grow up and be civil towards my family!" I added.

My mother didn't know what to say, and was silent as we got up and I grabbed my purse and we left. The ride back to the hotel was silent and we collapsed in bed and fell asleep as soon as we got back-it had been a horrible way to end the day.

Chapter 15: Family Feud(JON"S POV)

Our vacation was absolutely amazing- I could just feel what we had between us getting stronger, as could Chrissy. 10 days enjoy the sun, sand and spending time with a beautiful girl -what more could I ask for?

We went and saw Epcot center, and Walt Disney World and we also went to Sea World.

As long as we were in Orlando, we made the 45 minute drive to see her mom.

We were both nervous as all heck when we got to the house, Chrissy's mom was really glad to see her, but as soon as she saw me she turned into a totally crazy ranting, raving bitch!

She started calling us names and saying Chrissy lied to get that scumbag Jake into trouble. Everything reached a boiling point when Chrissy told her that I was Emma's biological father-not Jake.

Her mom was totally acting like Jake was a saint who could do no wrong.

Her mom had an absolute fit, I tried unsuccessfully to diffuse things and everything but the visit ended with Chrissy telling her mom off and also that she wouldn't be able to see Emma till she changed her attitude and could treat us with respect.

Neither of us could believe what had happened so the drive back to the hotel was pretty quiet and we collapsed in bed and fell asleep once we got back.

It was a long day to say the least.
